When i start playing a game, the first thing i notice is the video at the begining of the game. Furthermore if the game has also videos while you playing is for me ideal especially when these videos are remarkable regarding their texture. In general i think that the videos in every game help you to understand the story and the meaning of the game.

I like the videos in the Tomb Raider series of games. They are really cool.

I don 't remember for the old ones but from Anniversary were indeed very good

I really liked the videos from Still Life and the Syberia series.

The videos from Paradise were great too. I liked the feature that let you view them apart from the game, once you had triggered them.

I recall immediately being drawn into The Moment of Silence with the opening video. That and the cutscenes were really done well.

Same as Butcher, I think the videos from Still Life and Syberia I & II are excellent: the former for their sheer impact, the latter for their beauty.

Oblivion PS3 - better than the movies and is fascinating. Maybe PC game the same - when it prompts "press start" don't and wait a bit, be patient.

There are SO many great games that have great opening movies...I can't even begin to list all the ones I like!! wow!

Phantasmagoria and Gabriel Knight Beast Within have great openings.....

You are right. I think that all Benoir Sokal's games have great videos... and Still Life too. Regarding the Indigo Prophecy, i'll vote for that... every time i was watching a video from this game i was holding my breath...

Still Life had a great opening video. I liked the opening to And Then There Were None showing everyone arriving to the port to go to the island.
