Does anyone know if they ever fixed all the bugs with this (I remember trying to play on WIN98 and it was a whole procedure to get it running)? Will it run ok on XP? I always liked the graphics and thought it might be fun to play.

There has never been a patch issued for Forever Worlds.

The lack of a patch shouldn't be a problem on XP.

Whether it's fun to play is open to debate.

One of those games where general opinion of it is so dire it almost compels you to seek it out and play it, just to see for yourself if it's really that bad. "Almost" being the operative word here. lol

I also liked Crystal Key 2, but I sure didn't like Forever Worlds. Forever Worlds made no sense in almost any way you can think of.
Forever Worlds should run better on XP than on Win 98 though.

Hi cazziejoe, the game frequently turns up on worst games ever & I was a contributer! But, it's a game I won't part with!

From my point of view it's a nicely constructed game, I found it a lot of fun (although some of the voices are 'painful'!) There is a story which begins & ends - it's just the inbetween bits that baffle but IMO comes across as a game that was well thought out (just on a different planet! rotfl). I'm fond of it! but really you just have to try & make up your own mind! smile

I saw that game a couple of months in a local store and i was thinking of buying it. Can someone tell me a few words? Sorry for posting this question here but it is for the same game and i didn't find a reason to start a new post. Hope it isn't to much trouble...
Thanks smile

Hi Volkana, a lot of people thought this was a bad game. To add to my post above the story is very bizarre! - so I don't like to recommend it, but it's an interesting experience! smile

Well i was afraid that it will be like those Myst games. Not my style really although i thing there are great games for those who like really hard puzzles. Anyway i'll check the price and i'll choose. I like experiences... smile

Hi Volkana, Forever Worlds is most definitely not like a Myst-type game & doesn't contain those sort of puzzles - It is 1st person perspective but you meet lots of characters & is much more a 'mainstream' type of adventure with some inventory type puzzles smile
