Hi jachern, I've posted in hints how I got out of the sewer (I think!)

I agree that the graphics are quite minimal & the demo is very short but it intrigued me enough to think about buying the full game! smile

I would hope that the full game would have "normal" graphics rather that shadow figures. Hmm, I will do some looking around to see if there is any more information on how this game looks graphically. If the graphics are the same as the demo, I doubt I'd want to play it....IMO laugh

Chrissie, from what you said about the whole game, the graphics are representative of the demo? The figures are "shadows" so to speak?

They have been so far Cissy, & if you look at the screenshots HERE (scroll down) - you can see that it seems to be the style of the game throughout & doesn't promise anything different!

It is supposed to be true to the classic novel by Victor Hugo (which is one I've never read!) but I really haven't got far enough into it to say whether it is worth it or not yet, that's if you don't mind the graphics! smile

Thank you Chrissie for the hints. I will go to the hints forum and check it out. And sorry, Ana. I know the rules about different forums for different subjects.

However, I am passing on this game. It is too shadowy and dingy for my taste.

Seems to be a great historical adventure. Gets in my to-buy list
