TGC - The Games Company revealed today the official title of the latest Simon the Sorcerer adventure and launched the official, international website. In the fifth installment of Simon the Sorcerer the whacky magician is being confronted with nasty marsians who are threatening his world. To match the fantastic sci-fi story, TGC decided to use “Simon the Sorcerer: Who’d Even Want Contact?!” as the official title of the game. Just like before, the fifth part of Simon the Sorcerer, one of the most successful adventure series ever, feels alive because of it’s crazy humor. New to the game is the large diversity of locations and the possibility to solve a puzzle on various ways. Besides the typical nasty answers, players are now able to choose the really mean ones or become friendly. Depending on his actions and decisions, the player will receive an individual psychogram at the end of the game.
Details about the game, news, screenshots and the forum can be found in the official website HERE, and soon you will also be able to find the english trailer as well as examples from the various voice talents inside the download section. Simon the Sorcerer: Who’d Even Want Contact?! is scheduled for summer for PC.

Cathy -- it sounds like there are certain actions during the game where you have a choice. The game keeps track of your choices, and at the end, compiles them and analyzes them to tell you your gaming personality type, issued in the game as a psychogram. At least, that's what it sounds like. I took an online personality gaming test once, and found out that I think just like Guybrush Threepwood. Explains a lot, doesn't it? Guybrush huh...Now I see

Hi all Just wondering is the 5th game going to be in DVD Format only or will there be a CD Version. I sure hope there is a CD Version because i just happen to look at the DVD version requirements Core 2 Duo 2.5 GHz, 2 GB RAM, graphic card 256 MB (GeForce 7600 or better), 2 GB HDD, Windows XP/Vista. And unfortunately i will not meet those requirements. and i was hopefully looking forward to this game . I had a great time playing Simon Sorcerer 1,2 and 4. I didn't like Simon the Sorcerer 3D because it wasn't really an adventure game it had to many arcade and action scenes. Which i don't like in an adventure game.

Even though i am not sure about a cd version yet. Here is some good news i just checked the games company website and they have the requirements as
Minimum: Windows® XP/ Vista, DirectX® 9.0c, Pentium 4 2.0 GHz or 100% compatible CPU, 512 MB RAM, 2 GB available hard disk space, DirectX® compatible graphics card with Pixel Shader 2, DVD drive
Recommended: Windows® XP/ Vista, DirectX® 9.0c, Pentium 4 2.4 GHz or 100% compatible CPU, 1 GB RAM, 2 GB available hard disk space, DirectX® compatible graphics card with Pixel Shader 3, DVD drive
Which is good news for me because my computer meets the minimum requirements.
