Iceberg Interactive has some great news about the much anticipated horror game Dark Fall: Lost Souls!
The newest horror adventure by Jonathan Boakes, Dark Fall: Lost Souls, is set for a release on the 6th of November 2009 in the UK. The game will be released later in Q4-2009 in the other EU countries.
DARK FALL: There is a place, in every village, in every town and in every city where the people never go. They are forgotten places, the dark places, the abandoned places. Rust, mould and rot have taken up residence, in those secret places which continue to decay, invisible to the eyes of the living. They are thought to be empty places, where no one has set foot for many decades. No light nor life can be expected in such hopeless locations. But some form of life remains...an echo, a memory, a ghost.
What would draw you to such a location? The loss of a loved one, an inquisitive nature or an unhealthy interest in the dead? Whatever your reasons, you know you should not be here. All the signs... whether real or imaginary... are telling you to 'Turn Back', 'Do Not Enter' or 'Keep Clear', yet still you progress forward, drawn by some unexplainable desire to seek the truth.
The dead are waiting. They have stories to tell. Tales of darkness, loneliness and despair. Be careful you do not join them, as it could be an eternity until the next curious visitor opens that old, rotten door, to find you within. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. What tale would you tell? Would you know how to explain what happened, that dark night when your curiosity got the better of you? Would you be able to speak it's name...the ancient name...or would you simply warn the new arrival to beware...to beware the Dark Fall.
LOST SOULS: You have unfinished business with the dead. Return to the Train Station and Hotel at Dowerton for a second time, there is a new mystery to solve, and new horrors to face. The old buildings have deteriorated since your last perilous adventure, so you must watch your step, and never turn your back on the darkness....for something hides there; Something evil, unknowable and hungry.
The dead of Dowerton are the least of your problems, as you are stalked from one derelict room to the next, by the Dark Fall itself. It wants your soul; to feed upon, devour and torture. You must make the ghosts of the hotel your ally, through any means you can. For it is only through successful exorcisms that you will gain the strength to battle the darkness that lurks in that long forgotten, abandoned place.
