I am outside where Paloma is kidnapped. I can't find a way to pick up the ladder. I saw the beam with BAR on it. Used a piece of lumber to break open window on truck. Got cell phone and key. Used key to open box and got charger & dictophone. Saw piece of paper. When I try to lift ladder it says 16 cases. I don't know where there is another place to put what I have in inventory so that I can pick up the ladder to go back in the house up to the room. Have I missed something? Thank you

There's a trash bin right of the stairs. That's a storage area for inventory.

My game keeps freezing & flickering while Vic is in the the old house's basement trying to wet the dry sponge. Everytime I click on the sink with or without the dry sponge, it hangs up and just flickers? Is there a patch or fix for this? Or can somebody please send a saved game AFTER the receiving the wet sponge to put me out of my misery? Thanks a bunch.

Have you tried turning off any special effects from Options at main menu, to see if that improves performance?

Hi RUSHES; What does the patch do? I too had operating isues with this game and uninstalled it. Perhaps the patch would motivate me to try again?

I've done some more research; apparently this patch only covers issues with the French and German language versions. It would have been nice if the site linked to had mentioned this.
