Pokey I used the speed potion to get through the banging doors.

Moondancer look for the circle of light coloured sand by the grave and click on it.

Anne, I tried several times and was finally able to do it. I wasn't running far enough, I guess. Going the other direction, I needed to start in the right place to make it work.

Moondancer there should be locations marked on your quest map that show you the different graves to dig. They are scattered around the island and are hard to find and you just click on the ground in front of the marker and if you have the right grave your character will dig as long as you have a shovel in inventory.

I'm done. The big boss has been defeated. smile

I loved the game and can't wait for the next in the series.

Oh well done Pokey. bravo bravo bravo

Not there yet, but so far really enjoyed the game.
I hear the final fight is harder than all the Gothic ones.

Done the graves! Thanks. kissy What stumped me about that very first grave, was that the soil didn't look any different on that one - it was just a grassy spot. The others all looked like they had loose earth where you had to dig.

By now I've given the Inquisitor what he needed to open the outer door, and now busy struggling with the big gate... Fun! happydance

Congrats, Pokey! cool Are you going to replay any of it?

Moondancer, no, I don't replay games. Now that I am done, I'm missing it. I might go find a few more hero's crowns and see if there is any area I missed, but otherwise, I'm done.

You have a lot of fun ahead of you.

Looney, I don't see any new games that look interesting. I am about halfway through Far Cry 2 and was enjoying it, so will get back to it. Maybe some Thief fan missions for a change too. I would love to see another RPG as good as Risen.

Oops! While looking for the Titan armour, should one take your busts with you, or can you leave them behind?

Btw, Pokey, have you had a look at Borderlands and Prototype yet?

Help! Please help..

I'm in the tomb behind the waterfall East of the Don's tomb, the one with all the lava and the scorpions and warcrickets and asbeasts and so on. I managed to get the one bust out of it's cell, called the "King's bust", by using telekineses. (The cell door is open, but if you remove the bust, the door closes.)

Problem is that I have no idea where to look for the second bust, and /or also no idea how to open the cell with the lizardman in it. (I'm thinking the bust must be in there)

PS: (It's the room with the spikes in the middle)

EDIT: Yay! Finally got the Titan shield.. Gee - what a maze to get there! eek

It's probably a bit late now, but once you're done using the busts as needed in their temples (and you've collected everything you need from the temple), I suggest leaving them behind rather than bringing them to other temples. The game lets you take most of them back, and some of the doors even stay open when you do so. But all the busts have similar names and similar icons, so once you get a bunch of them in your inventory you may start to forget which ones you need to use in a given tomb.

Thanks, Demosthenes, I'd rather leave them then. smile

I've now got the hammer, the shield and the greaves. I'm now in that tomb just below the monastery and above the farm with Severian.

I've disabled two magic barriers in here, and jumped over some lava and up some steps where there is a door that requires a bust.

I've finecombed the rather smallish caves areas for any trace of a bust, but no luck. frown

Any suggestions, anyone, please?

EDIT: Sorry, no..- the door requiring the bust is on the other side, not through the entrance where one had to jump over the lava. Anyway, none of the lizardmen nor the skeleton on the lava side had anything useful on them.

I think this is the one with the bust up above the door.

Just wanted to say that I finished the game yesterday. I was disappointed by it being over so suddenly... somehow it felt like I still had a lot to do, and I never got a chance to try out my grand new armour in the world!

The final boss battle took me quite a while to figure out... and then boom! suddenly the game was over.

I have been feeling rather empty, without playing my Risen, I must say. Maybe I was expecting something closer to the length of Gothic 2, if not quite Gothic 3.
