For some reason, I can't get Leonardo to talk to Bruno about distracting the cook, Martin. All Leonardo will say is "how difficult it is to be a good copiest and translator" and all Bruno will say is "I will try, Master." Anybody have any ideas? I've tried Leonardo speaking to Bruno is various places in the monastery. Thanks for the help.

Jena,

1. You should have the Hortus Tuus from Arcadio
2. You should know that Umberto is hungry after you asked him to translate.
3. You have to impress Martin by knowing that he placed thyme and oregano in his soup. This info came from Eladio.
4. You should already have the opened crock ready to get soup.

Then you can talk a lot to Bruno to get him to distract Martin while you get soup into the crock.

Thanks so much for the welcome and good wishes. The hint worked fine. Somehow, I missed a step before. I've missed the give and take of the forums on certain games. Jena was my user name in another game. Thanks again for the help and the welcomes.

Arcadio said he had something to tell me when I talked to him in the cemetery. I was to meet him in the garden, where he did not show. I went back out to cemetery and he said he would meet me in my cell. I went back to my cell and he was there, but he won't say anything other than he is safe in that cell and sends Bruno and me out. I can't get past that point and until I talk to him, I can't get the Tarot cards. Am I missing something? I don't get a chance to talk in the cell. The sound track says something like "I'll see you later Brother Martin" and then Leonardo talks to Arcadio.

Then go back in and talk to Arcadio in privacy.
