Anyone playing? More of an adventure game and am stuck. There's this wooden eagle on a perch that needs to be moved to nest by the door. I can get one leg up but not the other. Haven't found a temporary perch either. Have placed a boiled egg in the nest. Maybe should have shown it to the eagle first? There's nothing else left to do.

Click to reveal..

You need to put the bamboo in the eagle's other claw.

If you don't have the bamboo, you need to use the scissors on the bamboo plant.

If you don't have the scissors, you need to find the secret compartment in Margaret's makeup box.

No problem.

Btw, it's only available at retail right now (also Wii and DS versions). No download yet.

Do you have a DVD drive? The game shipped on a DVD... not a CD.

I checked my box and I am sure it said CD-Rom. I'll double check it again. I double checked it and it clearly says CD RoM on the lower right side of the box and on the specs for Windows as well. My friend couldn't get it to load on her computer either. If this is indeed a DVD then the box is labelled incorrectly. I bought it at Walmart

I see here on Amazon the case says CD-Rom and the specs say DVD-Rom.

Do you have a DVD drive exalthim?

You have every right to return the game to the store for a full refund since the box is clearly inaccurate. I'm sorry that happened to you.

Should'nt the manufactor of the box be notified that they are printing inaccurate boxes so no one else has this problem?

Unfortunately, as a developer, we have no control over this type of thing. In fact, I haven't even seen the actual box yet. I'll check with the publisher and see if I can find any additional info.

I did take the game back to wal-mart and explained the problem but I don't think they really believed me. after much "intensive conversation" on my part, they finally agreed to give me the amount back in a gift card, not a cash refund. So I guess it eventually worked out but it caused way too much frustration

Wow, I bought this, and it included a bonus game. When I installed, I didn't notice the DVD requirement because my drive does both DVD and CD. However, I just saw this thread and checked my box. It not only says CD on the front in the WIN/MAC software logo, but also on the back where it lists specs, it doesn't mention needing ANY kind of a drive for installation! Just out of curiosity, I looked at the actual disk, and ALL the instructions for installation which are imprinted on the disk say it is CD software and give the instructions in those terms. So....it's not just the box that has the error!

I bought it from Walmart too - I didn't see CD anywhere on my box, nor did I see DVD.

However, I found a w/t in PDF format and downloaded it, scanned it and then tried to open it.

Don't download it!! Now I have BSoD and looking for a cure. Just a warning for others.

The game is good - but it would be nice if someone had a w/t. It does have adventure qualities!

I saw this game at Target and thought it looked like it might be a good one. Didn't buy it and these posts about it are intereting. What is a BSoD? That doesn't sound good!

I've posted a walkthrough on our web site for anyone still looking for assistance. It's also a PDF file, but please don't confuse it with the one that caused you problems.

Thank you so much Gunnar! praise

One crash per winter is plenty for me. I crashed in January and again last week - I can't thank you enough for this w/t.

Hugs,
Linda
