i am at raol's garage and trying to find the puncture in the tire. the magtro w/t says i should take the repumped up tire to the fountain and mark the hole in the tire with the marker pen after nicole finds the puncture after dipping it in the fountain. fair enough, but when i find the puncture, the program won't mark the tire. am i missing something in the process or am i just not fast enough? if so, can you send me a saved game from someone who is? thanks, robert.

it's me again. i have entered the secret room after having done the slider puzzle, and i just can't combine in inventory the two pieces of map, whether they go together or using adhesive tape or not. have i missed something? thanks, robert.

Is the other piece of the map complete, or does it still consist of smaller unassembled pieces? If so, those pieces need to be put & taped together before you can add this new section. That's the only reason I can think of as to why you're unable to combine the two pieces.

dear rushes. possibly. but i can't go back and check as the 2 saved games preclude this. somebody else has these - now i don't know what to do. robert.

Robert,

If you have not pieced them together yet = then you can do it now.

dear mag. please excuse me for being so dense, but i do not understand. have you done something. what does 'you can do it now' mean? robert.

If you have collected the pieces of map and they are in your invetory - try taping them together now.

dear mag, as i tried to explain to rushes, i don't have in inventory the individual map pieces. these must have been 'lost' in the shuffle between 2 saved games. short of requesting a nrw saved game with the pieces taped together, i am stuck, and embarrassed. robert.
