At the end of Act 1 there is a video sequence
where Lara is walking to the park to talk to
Max.

That is, I only know this from the walkthrough,
because the game crashes every time
Lara leaves the office to go meet Max.

Does anyone know of a patch for thís and maybe
other problems, or has anyone maybe a saved
game from just after this meeting, that you
could send to me?

If you’re playing another, you can try lowering the in-game graphics options. Disable Dynamic Shadows and Reflections, and lower the settings for Antialiasing, Texture Filtering, Mipmapping, and Shader Quality to their lowest settings.

Ole, in my admittedly hostile opinion, the games ALWAYS chrashes. It was the most technically irritating game I have ever played.

Maybe your drivers (or hardware) are up to the task - post the details from DXDiag and we'll have a look.

First of all, the theme reminds of many other games that I have played, and as The Haze points
out there are probably other problems awaiting,
so it is really not worth the trouble.
