i cant find the safe in arneson's house. i am in the master bedroom and have done everything according to the w/t. i have saved games from pcsaved games websight, but i put the save in the game changed the number to save_12 which is the next save but it doesnot work. can i have some help please. thanks

The safe won't be seen until you have clicked on all active spots in the house and at the yard.
Then a cutscene with Watson finding the safe will happen.
Best to go over all the hospots in and outside the house. Also to the path going to the pier at back of the house.

i got the saves for this game from pc saved gamed, and i tried to use 1 but it didn't show up in the game. do u know why. thanks

There are two versions of this game, the original and the Remastered. A Remastered save will not be compatible with the original release game, and vice versa, so that may be why.

i am in scotland by the 3 geyers do i need to read in documents about desperate book because i don't have it in documents. and when i walk towards the rams heads homes says i am going the wrong way, did u send me the save for the orginal game. because it does not work either. i rename the # in order but it dowsnot show up.

Be sure that Holmes mentions MacGrinty. Walk around the three geysers until he says this line, otherwise the walk to the ram rock and Holmes's final comment will not trigger.

Check everything you have in Documents. The pages of the pirates book should be there to read the reference to direction.

I don't know, smitty. Perhaps my XP save isn't compatible with your Vista game. In any case, you're past that point now and so don't need the save. Have fun.
