is anyone playing Casebook III yet? I need help about getting close enough to take photos.

I've collected some and watched Burton go on his bike to the sheriff, but can't get any further

No matter what angle I've tried, the game still tells me "too far from subject"

Burton looks thinner ... hmmm, hope he's not caught up in the craziness of being skinny

Right click to take the camera. Move close to an active item by use of the scroll wheel of the mouse. Click to take a picture once the item is in focus or within the frame. Right click to hide the camera.

I am stuck getting enough evidence of finding out everyone that has been in the chapel. I know what the weapon is.

I think I have all the evidence of the DNA for who was in the chapel but I cannot find anyone new. Can you help me Mag?

I have the DNA of the victim, White, Burton's old enemy. Whose DNA am I missing and where is it?

Is there a walkthrough out for this game yet?

Thanks in advance

Sherryah - I found that I couldn't progress at times until I had made all the connections - I'd suggest you go back to the evidence board and see if there are any links still to be made

I finished the game and was a bit disappointed that it was too short - nevertheless, a great game, and seems like it left a giant opening for the next one

Hi Menahune, do you remember if anyone else's DNA was found in the chapel besides the victim, White, and Burton's old enemy? What is the easiest way to do connections, this is the hardest part for me. I have 3 connections in the evidence folder. Congrats on finishing the game. smile

Sherryah -- I'm pretty sure you find DNA evidence that the priest has been there. Possibly on

the lectern that's fallen to the ground.

does anyone know how to do the chemical compounds from the list that the lab tech sent? I am trying not to spoil this for anyone who has not played yet.

Dorish --

You have to experiment with the compounds. When, by trial and error, you get one of the compounds in the right order -- big hint:

Click to reveal..
the name of the compound on the paper shows up in dark ink, rather than being greyed out. So you know that that color goes into the mixture in that order.

Thanks Becky, I have 5 of them-actually 1 combo gave me two. I need the one for formaldehyde. Is this a random thing?

Doreen

BTW how do you exit from that puzzle? I have had to use ctrl-alt delete.

Dorish -- it isn't random. I didn't actually write them down, so I'm not sure of the color for formaldehyde. If you have 5, whatever is left should be the sixth. Since formaldehyde is a liquid, it should be one of the liquids, not one of the powders.
