Good morning everybody. How is everyone doing? I'm up, but really don't want to be. It'll be a busy day, but we have sunshine and a bit warmer temps today, so it's shaping up to be an awesome day. I hope all you Boomers have a super day. I forgot last night to welcome Bonnie & Midnight to the Diner. Bonnie. Hope to see you in the diner often. Hello Drizzt. It's great to see you again. How is life treating you? Good morning Ana. joe

Good morning. I think I missed checking in the diner yesterday. My days are getting crazy here. I'm holding my breath until I hear that the house inspection passes. They'll be here on Thursday but I won't hear until the beginning of next week. I need all your prayers once again Boomies. This morning I have a physical that's required before my eye surgery on Dec 11th. I need to get going now. Please someone exercise for me today. No time. Midgie

Hi, Ana! It's coming along nicely. I am hopefully soon finished with the report and am just starting to work on the presentation. That is the hardest part; I feel like I have next to zero creativity to make an exciting presentation. Joe, it's great, but I am starting to yearn for home again. I have to go back a few days next week (funeral of my grandfather), but then I have to go back here to Norway one last time before I aim to be finished with everything sometime in December. I didn't think it would be that hard to move away from family and friends, but I guess I was wrong.

Good morning all.
What a day yesterday. Went to class in the morning then came home and fixed Bill lunch. Then we left for the hospital. Had to be there at 12 and surgery scheduled for 2. They didn't take me in until 4:15. I was starved. Anyway, the surgery came out great, much better then we hoped. Doc didn't have to make a new tear duct as he was able to open the one I had. He said it have been cauterized shut. So now I am sporting a very black eye and it is very sore right under my eye. No lifting, bending, stooping, exercising for a couple weeks and no blowing my nose for a month. Yuck.
Jenny, prayers going out to Doughnut.
Hiya Midgie. How's it goin? Take care and we will talk soon.
I'm gonna go play for a minute.
Bets

Bets soo glad the surgery went well yesterday Hugs

Hi Drizzt soo nice to see you.. Glad you are almost done with your report and presentation good luck with that. I hear you on being far from family and friends as much as I love it when I go away to San Antonio I get really homesick. I say I would move out there in a heart beat but honestly I wouldn't I would miss my family and friends too much.
Sorry about the loss of your grandfather. My condolences to you and your family. I am happy you are able to go home for that time to be with your family though. Hope you get to go home for good soon. Please come back real soon
Ana hope you have a better day then yesterday. Hugs to you too
Hi ya Joey maybe you can squeeze in a nap later?
Well I got word that I don't have to babysit later so I can slow down on my to do list and enjoy some of my day off.
Walking partner is here so see ya later
Hugs, Shell

Good morning Midgie. You are excused for not coming to the diner yesterday. We all know how busy you have been. Take care of yourself, ok? I know I'll get plenty of exercise unloading retainer wall bricks today. I doubt, seriously, that I'll be doing any other exercise. Drizzt, at least you can see the light now. You've accomplished a lot to get to this point. Sorry to hear about your grandfather. Bets I'm glad to hear your surgery went ok. You take care too. Get Bill to blow his nose for you. I know that was dumb. What can I say. I'm a dummy. Good morning Shell. I hope you have a nice relaxing day off too. Have a nice walk. joe

Speaking of drips, we have a plumber coming today to install two new faucets in Mom's bathroom. I've gotta get going and get something done before the day gets away from me. I'll see you all later. joe

Hope you were up late because you were having too much fun gaming! Connie, glad to hear Sandy is recovering well. Prayers for your son and your family. Shell, sounds like another busy day for you! Hey, Gail! Looks like a wonderful day ahead of you! Oh, Darleen. I hope everything works out for your family for Thanksgiving. Hey, Ana! Our Thanksgiving will be a fairly quiet one, with kids in and out, and maybe a friend or two stopping by. How 'bout you? Hello, Drizzt! So sorry to hear about your grandfather. I wish you success on your presentation! Howdy ho, Joe! Hope you find some time today to chillax a bit! Hey, Midgie! Prayers for the inspection to pass with flying colors! Bets, great news about your surgery! Prayers for a quick recovery! Would you all keep my daughter in your thoughts today. She has her interview for the supervisory position she has been recommended for. She's nervous, poor baby. She goes up before a panel. I told her 'just be yourself, baby, and that will be great!' Alrighty, gotta skoosh! Bible study after work and then home to dine and game! See you later!

Hi Shell.
Midgie, fingers crossed for smooth sailing. Have you started to look at all as to where you will go?

Wonderful Wednesday to ya I think I slept a wee bit late today. Got up and fed me and then fed the dogs, but Lil Soot wouldn't even come into the kitchen to eat Hubby had a great time last night. The conference he is at reserved the entire Monterrey Aquarium, so hubby had a fantastic time. It's only going to be in the 50's here, but it is bright and sunny out there. Joe, sorry you are so tired. Are you off today? Darlene, to your daughter. Happy skooshing! Cailyn, you were up early. How's the weather where you are. Trippy, get a steaming cup of tea and curl up under the covers and cuddle with the pups. Feel better soon. JennyP, I'm so sorry. Hugs hugs hugs and more hugs are heading your way along with some prayers for Doughnut. Blsbet, enjoy your cuppa! Wow Gerry, you were up late. I hope it was doing something fun. Connie, hugs hugs hugs and more hugs to you! What a terrible situation for you to be in. We will add our prayers for his safety. Shell, who are you babysitting for? I hope to get a walk in with the gang today. Gail, have fun! Awww Darleen, I'm sorry that something you did as a kindness is having not so fun consequences. Hugs to you! Ana, we are on a downhill slide for the weekend Drizzt, how fun to see you. Sorry about your grandfather. Hugs to you. Isn't it great that the net makes staying in touch easy? Midgie, is the surgery for a cataract? Bets, glad they could open your tear duct, but sorry the day was so stressful. Does this mean that Bill is waiting on your every whim? Hugs to you!

Hi L4L, no, Bill is not waiting on me. He did vac the living room carpet though and boy, I ain't gonna complain about that. And I still have to cook but he does put the dishes in the dishwasher. I feel like I have a sinus infection but I don't. I can gently sniff though. Hey Joe, can the plumber fix my drip? Trippy, Yeah, I stick my finger up my nose, with a kleenex, that is. Gonna look really great when I go to class tomorrow. Gross everyone out!!! On that note, I am going to go do something else. Bets

Goldqueen, I really didn't think it would be hard at all, but I guess I overestimated myself. At least I learned a very valuable lesson. Thank you. Joe, indeed. But right now I'm honestly rather tired of this particular subject. Makes sense then that I will probably try to get a PhD? Darlene, thanks! It will be needed. 3dobermans, not yet...I am almost 100% certain I will get a job as a PhD student at my university, but I haven't gone through the formalia yet, so it's 100%. But that's what I am hoping for in any case. l4l, indeed! What did we do before GameBoomers and all the other lovely sites? It's 10:27 p.m. and I am still stuck at work. But I only have myself to blame for making an error in the first place.
