Streko Graphics are working on the last instalment of Aura, called Aura III:Catarsis and for the occasion they renovate their official site.
Streko Graphics are planning a summer 2010 release, but the company would welcome proposals from publishers to fund its projects.
Here's the story for Aura III:Catarsis:
Quote:
The final chapter of the Aura trilogy. The player continues to play as the main character Umang – the chosen student of the Keepers clan. Umang will have to travel to many strange and mysterious worlds to overcome his own dark side. In this epic adventure the player will be transformed into different forms to undertake different challenges to eventually try and bring balance to the universe and find himself.
The player can expect to encounter many worlds, travel to the past (Ademica valley) and future, play in the roles of different characters and solve many challenging puzzles.

Streko Graphics is not only working on Aura III, but also in other two adventures and two action games!

Here's a summary of the adventure games working in progress:
DEEP SLEEP

Quote:
The player plays the role of Gerad Kolly, an insurance fraud investigator. He is investigating the disappearance of a unique and extremely expensive statuette. Gerard’s investigation brings him to a certain Otto von Shtekel, a professor at the institute for dream research.

Without knowing it, Kolly becomes involved in the battle between the last ruler of the ancient city Hypnosis and a strange reincarnation of the “Dream Warrior” who now stands in the emperor’s path. By using a combination of ancient artifacts combined with the latest advances in the dream vision technology the main hero learns to manipulate future events through other’s dreams, which gives him a significant advantage over his powerful enemies who are attempting to throw the real world into chaos by causing anarchy in the dream world. Kolly cant even begin to fathom the consequences if the battle that he is now involved in is lost.

NONAMESTAR
Quote:
Lonely, empty space. In the midst of this quietness and emptiness appears an intergalactic transport ship, navigated by autopilot. In one of the cryogenic cells lies a blody person. His name is Alex Raven.

- Genre - adventure/quest, in a world of fantasy and adventure.
-The game is designed for a wide range of audience, and does not contain any limiting content. The minimum age of the target player is about 12.
-An intriguing plot with an unpredictable ending.
-Arcade elements are built into the game.
-Numerous logical puzzles.
-The clues must be deduced from the video cut-scenes.
- A large number of video cut-scenes incorporated into the game.
-Adventure in a 3-dimentional environment in third person point of view.

On the official site you can find some screenshots and artworks, let's hope to get more updated info's in the future.

I absolutely enjoyed the first Aura..but disliked the 2nd Aura-was sooo disappointed. If the #3 is anything like the #2 maybe they should stop now and work on something else.

I loved Aura but I don't remember Aura 2. When did that come out?
I remembered it was The Sacred Rings. I hope the 3rd one will be available in stores when it comes out.

I loved the first Aura, also but was not impressed with the characters in the second one, but I did finish the game.

I noticed in the description "arcade elements" hmm, I wonder what that means??

Hi Gamenut,

I agree on Aura I vs. Aura II. Found the 1st Aura absolutely magical. Aura II was OK, but that's about it. I sure hope Aura III gets back to that magical feeling.
