For some reason everytime I try to save my game it freezes on me and the game become unresponsive. I would really appreciate it if someone can send me a saved game file right after the wardrobe trunk in Dr. Tumbleys room. Thank you so much.

I sent it to the e-mail address listed in your profile. Check your spam folder in case it ended up there.

I did I don't know what happened. Could you just send it again I made sure that the emial address listed is the one I am using but I don't see it. Thanks for all your help it is greatly appreciated.

I'm having trouble remembering how to get the save game to the acutal game. could you send me a e-mail with the directions on how to get the file from the e-mail to the game? Its been a long time since I had to get a save game from someone. Thanks!

The game folder locations differ depending on whether you have XP or Vista:

For XP - C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\Games\sherlock holmes versus jack the ripper\save

Or for Vista: C:\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Sherlock Holmes versus Jack the Ripper

Open up the game folder where all your saves are stored and make a note of the last numbered save there.

Save the file I e-mailed to you to your desktop, and renumber it there so that it will appear as the last numbered file in your save folder.

Now copy & paste (or drag & drop for Vista) the file into the folder along with all your other saves.

Exit all folders, start up the game as usual and load the new save. You may need to scroll to the beginning of your saves to find the new one.
