Terrific Thursday ya'll puppy

Well, hubby is flying home today--or attempting to. Apparently, there is a problem with the automated flight plan system, so poor baby could be in for a long day.

Joe, type a line, snooze a line, sounds good. Have fun in Texas. Say "hi" to daughter while you are there whistle

Does Pepper talk? Has she made peace with the kitties?

Darlene,so glad you could find the one wine at least. What wine are you having to complement your T'day dinner?

Cailyn, wave

Gerry, how are you?

Connie, Big hugs to you!

Midgie, prayers that today will be everything you need it to be. So sorry to hear that Buddy is limping. I'm sure they have done Xrays to be positive it's the Lyme's causing the problem and not something else?

Ana, I'm sorry to hear about BoBo. I hope they are wrong about the poison or if not, they can successfully treat him.

Gail, what are you up to today?

Shell, what movie are you going to watch. I always used to watch movies while I delt with Mt. St. Laundry wave

I'm so glad you were able to keep the picture and the ceramic rose garden. I know it will mean a lot to you as time passes.

Blsbet, wow, quiet tenants. That has to be a blessing. Do they rent the upstairs of your house?

Darleen, what color are your roses? My mom and dad loved roses and had 100+ bushes in their yard. There were very few days of the year that they didn't have fresh roses in the house.

Trippy, did you track down the coffee? How are you feeling?

ScarletD, I hope you are able to keep refusing delivery on that cold. You working tonight?

Hi guys here for a little break as I am soo ahead of schedule..

Karen your attitude is incredible and I am sure it is a huge reason as to why you are doing soo well. Congrats on the good news and hope you continue to heal quickly.

Jenny more hugs your way Love ya!

Auntie M big hugs for Buddy.. if you can't get an appointment till later take it I can bring him for you!

Darlene fingers crossed for your daughter!

Joey have fun in Texas!

L4L hope Soot gets to come home without a long ordeal.

I got both reports done and sent off to my Mom so she can do her part.

The laundry is all folded, put away or hung up except for what is in the washer and dryer now.

The kitties came upstaires with me and hung out.
Ended up catching up on CSI instead of a movie

Now just going to enjoy the rest of the day! I want to squeeze in a walk and I may go with my Mom down to the nursing home to see Aunt P.

Oh trust me she had plenty of treasures and they have been dispersed amongst family members and she still has some. My Mom decided that the things she couldn't have with her anymore that she had already named in her will that it made sense to give those things to those people now so she could see them enjoy them.

Thanks for that 'laundry' link auntiegram. It was sad to learn that others outside of our California Condo and planned community areas also are doing this. The HOA's (home owner's associations) in many communities around here won't even allow an empty clothsline in an enclosed back yard. They fine you if you attempt it. Ditto to clothes or beach towels hanging on balconies. One of the big reasons I will never live in an area that requires membership fees. However, our local news guy-about-town just did a piece on 'green laundry' and how it could save tons of energy if we used the dryers less. Wonder if our HOA's will be swayed?

Nan, that is funny. My mom always dried her laundry outside despite the fact she had a dryer.

I never do. I was famous for getting it up on the line and then not getting it in before it rained, not to mention all the pollen that brought into the house.

We had a German Shepherd. One day mom hung out the sheets and my puppy pulled down all the sheets. Mom went out to bring in the laundry to find it all on the ground.

I don't know what she did, but I do know for the rest of Hobo's life, whenever the laundry was on the line, He lay underneath it and guarded it until she took it down puppy

Hi, Trippy....Hope your feeling better..

Hi, Scarlet..Have you tried wearing those white surgical gloves...The girl at the local check out wears them cause she is allergic to money shocked Its true her hands get all red & scaly...

Ana...Any news yet on BoBo?

Hi, Joe & Darlene..

L4l....I seen on the news it was a computer glitch that caused all the delays at the air=ports..Hope he gets home ok...My roses are red, pink & white..

Shell...Have a relaxing afternoon..

Nan..That is too funny...Around my area they want to ban outside cloths hanging..What a joke I think it is...Some people can't efford high gas or electric bills...I used to hang the cloths out, but I found too many creepy crawlers on my bed after i brought them in lol

Hi, Sorta..Is it all quiet by you with the neighbors?

I just got back from Foodtown..Now I think I will casual game a bit...

It's a wonderful day in the neighborhood. After months of measuring and calculations and paperwork, the city finally sent the actual estimate for our sidewalks (only waiting 30 years). Now we all have to mail in the 'ballot' approving our 'share' and then wait till after an open forum in January where those who are opposed to this project can vent. Hopefully, all the owners will approve the estimates and they will start construction in the Spring. Crossing fingers and toes. Estimate for my 18ft wide driveway (we only pay for the driveway and rest is from a special fund), is about 2,000. I think that's about what I expected. Going out to check with all the neighbors now to see what they are assessed. Ohhhhh. Sidewalks? Us? A real street with no dust? Will it ever happen?

Heigh ho everyone.

Made it through the day. yay Got all kinds of comments on my black eye. Glad I went as I got a lot of work done on my project and came up with a really good idea for my final project to go on a DVD. Took lots of pics of the choir rehearsal and hope to get a bunch at orchestra rehearsal. Then hopefully, some at the dress rehearsal too. Stills and film clips. Then if I can get it, audio from the dress rehearsal for my music.

Midgie, hope the inspection went well.

Bill is out helping a friend so I think I will game for a few minutes.

Bets

Howdy neighbors! Thanks for asking about BoBo, he took a good turn a little while ago and is heading to his foodbowl searching for food. First time in 5 days. Now we just hope he'll keep it down. If not he'll have to go get fluids and nutrition at the vets, he's really weak and tired but an appetite is a great start. puppy

I see lots of hugs needed and stressful and sad news all over here. It always makes me sit back and think, which makes me thankful for everything I do have in my life that is great. I wish I could heal the broken hearts, turn sadness into happiness, heal all wounds and ease all stress, but all I have to offer is an ear, a virtual hug and nothing but the best wishes to send your way.

Must run, it's been a busy day here. Fortunately I spent enough time on the phone here all day I got my farming caught up. rotfl
