Hi all. Hey Ana, I thought those doggie beds were great. Of course you know your dogs would be sleeping in YOUR bed, so you would have to sleep on the new doggie beds. Hope they are comfy. rotfl

Off to lunch today with a good friend from my working days. She is having minor surgery tomorrow and wanted to eat her fill of good Mexican food today in preparation. It's so funny since I was just thinking about her and if it was too soon to call her to go to lunch (we went last month), and then she sends me an email about lunch. Woowoo.

My toes are cold. It might be time to switch from sandals to regular shoes? I'm avoiding.

Just boght the entire seasons 1-4 of Doctor Who. Going to review it from start to finish in preparation for the NEW Doctor. I loved the current one, so I'm hoping the newbie is going to be outstanding or it will ruin the show for me.

January 5 is the final vote for our big sidewalk project. If enough people agree to cough up the pittance they are asking to just cover the driveway apron then we will all reap the rewards. The entire project has a cost of over 2 million and 'our' share (the home owners) is only around 180k, so it's a big deal to get this special funding now. If not, eventually the city will put in the sidewalks and assess the owners the entire cost. Ugh.

Off to warm up my toes!

Howdy Boomers: I'm getting ready for a little nap in preparation for a long night at the rink. IU hockey game will probably last until 1 a.m. I worked by myself last night for 3 hours but it was a very long and strenuous shift of skating lessons. I hope all those kids receive skates for Christmas because I wore myself out running in and out getting the proper sized rental skates for them. Once they turn them back in, the skates have to be cleaned, disinfected and carried back outside for storage. I must have carried at least 120 pairs up and down the steps to the rental pod we are using for storage until the roof gets fixed and we can move them inside again. I've made many helpful suggestions and my boss has jumped on all of them. I was pleased to see she's already implemented the latest one. The skates kept falling off the open shelving so I suggested they stretch bungee cords along the sides or just use some masking tape. When I opened the pod last night, there were masking tape "bars" along the sides of all the shelves. Yippee. Makes the job a lot easier when the skates on the end stand up straight.

Enjoy your Friday night and send me a little sympathy for having to endure all those smelly hockey players.

Time to head off to work. I didn't get my nap, but I made a serious dent in Stephen King's new book. It's so big and heavy, I had to prop it up on a pillow so I could read in bed.

I really think you should order those doggie beds, Ana. They may cost $3,100 but it's FREE SHIPPING!

Hi Guys,

We headed out before coffee to go to the local dog show. Lots and lots of lovely dogs and there was 1 Chocolate Labrador yay Also saw a Black Russian Terrier and a Norwegian Keeshound and some beautiful Dobies and some wonderful French Bulldogs and lots of peppy Corgis.

The obedience trials are tomorrow and I'd love to go back and watch the way my doggies ought to behave lol

Stopped by the vet on the way home and picked up Solo's ashes. I thought I would be able to handle it ok, but turned out I didn't. sad

Came home and went to lay down for 20 minutes and woke up 4 hours later. I think I might be getting something nasty--maybe it's Joe's nasty bug?

Anyway, not sure what we are doing tonight but at the moment I'm really leaning towards heading back to the bed and curling up with one of the doggies.

I'll let you guys know.

Ana, aren't those beds a hoot? Have we heard about BoBo today?

You know, my dog houses are Air Conditioned and Heated and even have a fireplace rotfl

Evening, L4L...

Those dog shows I love to watch..I always look for a Cairn Terrier to win.. puppy

Sorry, You got sad today..The same thing happen to me when I had to get Raulphys ashes..I went alone..It was so sad..Cause when I had to bring him he sat on the passenger front seat...When I picked up the ashes I put the box on the same seat & cried all the way home..I put the ashes on my mantel it came in a wooden box with a certificate..Plus I have his picture along side him...I pat & rub the box every morning....God how I miss him...

Well....I am going to say goodnight..

Hubby & I are going bowling...

Cyou tomorrow..

L4L, your daughter looks so much like you! Does she get to come home soon to visit?

Hey everyone! Hubby and I are alone, it's nice and quiet. I am loading the new Nancy Drew and I will either play or bond with the couch awhile. I haven't decided.
It's a nice thought I have two days, off, work 3 and get 4 more off. Life is good!

Are we all happy?

Ana wave

Alone--quiet my beating heart!! Those are such wonderful words rotfl

We just finished beans and weanies and now Soot is running around in WoW with a Mr. T mohawk and I'm watching Monk.

I don't think I'm long for the den though--bed is calling my name.

Daughter will eventually, we hope. end up at Eglin AFB in Fla which is a 3 hour drive for us, but I don't think that will happen until after Christmas.

She might have some time on weekends but they'll keep her busy.
