Carol, available skills will have little arrows at the side. Clicking on the arrows will give you the skill once you accept. Not all skills are available right away. If you click on the skill icon it should tell you at what level a skill becomes available.

John, I remember when you wrote that. I had trouble at that spot also but got though it by a lot of luck. It doesn't get easier and I'm disappointed.

Boy, am I stupid or what! I just did not see that tiny arrow. You guys always have the answers to my questions (and everyone else's). I will probably be back when I get stuck again.
