Under heading 'Neutralise the mines' I'm trying to take the ventilation grate from the floor, but I can't! Why, please?

Check the pieces of grating there. One of them should be active. Keep us posted.

Thanks MaG, I've tried the grating many times, but all I get from Vic is 'This Grate must be from the Air Vent', have you a save round about here please?

Are you going to the gate and the grate on the ground? This is on the path that is at right side of the house.
There's a sort of fence on either side of the path and the grate is on the ground.

Check your e-mail for a picture.

MaG, I see that there is the archery target and the grate by the metal gate outside, but, by the walkthrough there is also a ventilation grate in front of Paloma's cell, that's the one I want first please.

Corana, check your inventory. You may have to leave some items in the cabinet to make room for the grate.

Be sure that you have used the metal detector first and know that there are mines on the ground. Also see if you can clear those areas. I don't think I have a saved game here.

As per walkthrough, I have already left some items in the cabenet, but with other similar puzzles there was always a red warning to tell me I needed more room.

I made a saved game.
Renumber the 2 files to be the last number.
Make space in inventory before picking the air vent up.

Wish I could 'sail smoothly' MaG! I did after I got your save and I believe I need another one now! I've moved on to page 24, got to box, put in keyboard and remote control, how do I scroll and call the killer? Went back to shelter where their wasn't a killer's body to be found, so no electronic key - help!!

You have been receiving calls-mails from the killer. So check the contact-mail part of your smartphone; use the scroll arrow at right until you see the killer's phone in the list.

Be sure that you have intialized the remote control.
Enter the code at keypad until the light turns green.
Take the remote control.
Now - you call the killer after setting the trap.

This does not happen at the shelter but at the panel at the gate in the backyard.

Sorry MaG, But I've got as far as Page 27 as Paloma, I need to click on the chainsaw - where is it please?
