You don't extract them - they are not compressed.
I sent the files as individual ones.
So renumber them as I stated in the mail as the last numbers in your saved game folder.
Place them together with the rest of the saved games in the saved folder. This folder is inside the Murder on the Orient folder.
Then close all folders.
Play-load as usual and let the game open them - not you.

I am having the same problem with opening the safe. I am using the 6 from 60. Is this correct? I couldn't open the link to see the saved game. I am trying to line up the 6. I have tried putting the cursor right on the middle line, the 2 lines to the left, the # line after 5. I am getting very frustrated - so close to the solution of the game. Evil Under the Sun was much easier.
Thanks for any help. It would be very much appreciated.

welcome

Be sure that you have: In inventory, look inside the hat of Ratchett and see the Rev. 13:18.
Look at Greta's bible. Check the documents in the scrapbook. See the last sentence of the bible passage - '...and his number is Six hundred threescore and six - 666'.

The combination is 666.
So place it on the 6th line from zero.
Counterclockwise, clockwise and counterclockwise again.
Check the picture below to see where the 6 lies. It is the one under the arrow.

Thank you, thank you. I finally opened the safe and completed the game. Evidently, I just wasn't getting the cursor on the number exactly.

Wasn't sure if I should start a new thread for my question on this game, so here goes. I listed through the doors to the various conversations, got caught by Michel, and followed the steps until re-entering my cabin and talking to Greta.
But nothing happens then - no avalanche. Did I miss a step somewhere?
Thanks!

Have you been to the baggage car already? You should follow or shadow Michel there.

I shadowed him (or I thought I did) to the car, talked (iirc), and he locked it behind me.

Check all the cabins then again and then back to your room - maybe something will happen to loosen the stumper. Also double check all the items (descriptions) in your inventory and read any documents. Keep us posted.
