Wrfstudios is planning to release the 4th installment of Last Dark of Darkness:Society of the Serpent Moon on the 3rd quarter 2010.

Very short demo but looks great, voice acting is really bad though hope they gonna put more work into that but overall release this game already

I've just ordered Tomb of Zofir so it's so good to know that another is in the works!

I played through the demo. It was my first experience with the LHOD games. Are they all third person?

No...This is Billy's first one...

On the whole, a very good spine chiller.
Yes - the protagonist's raspy voice is somewhat disturbing being rather overdone - but there are subtitles.
Yes this is his first 3rd person - the previous ones being 1st persons.

I do not like 1st person, Although I have bought the previous ones I did not think I would purchase anymore because I prefer 3rd person. I am rejoicing this is 3rd person and I will be buying it for sure. Downloading it now.

I always prefered 3rd person adventures also, but tomb of zojir in 1st person i would have perfered this to continue in same way, but its still a very early demo im sure there is gonna be alot of bug fixes, like the "stop" text u get randomly and u click on a item and he just stands there doing nothing then suddenly he examine area, hope his gonna include a skip for text cause ure stuck on click another place until his done talking annoying after checking same place more than once

But i asume this is 6months+ away atleast tons of time to make it perfect, like the voices sounds empty u can cleary hear its been recorded in a random room should be "easy" fixed running it through some sound editing software.

Even though I'm still in game #2 (Beyond the Spirit's Eye), it's going to be fun jumping ahead to the demo of the newest one. By the time it comes out, I'll have finished the others (be 'up to speed') and ready for Serpent Moon.

I'm a latecomer to the LHOD games.. still playing #2. Looking forward to the next one, even if it's done in 3d person. But, when Serpent Moon's released, I'm probably going to get it. I'll play both 1st & 3rd, but prefer 1st, because then, I'm right in there, getting the experience like it's happening to me and not a character that I'm watching. But then again... when games are scary (like LHODs), it helps to have that 3rd person character up front bearing the brunt of the spookiness! Billy.

Did anyone finish the demo? Gosh I am stuck and wonder is it worth putting up a hint link? Or can I just ask a question here?

The voice of the character I am sure they will fix because it has no emotion to it and like an echo sound. I love the 3rd person just needs worked on a bit more.

I hope they also will include hints it would really be cool to see them do what BFG did with the guide built in with hints.
