Normally I use walkthroughs, but I would like to figure out the endings for myself, so I'm using the forum. So I'm having trouble repairing the cell phone at the beginning. I have the new battery and have charged the phone, but it still won't work. I don't know what to do next...

Take the old battery out from the back of the cell phone.
Replace it with the new battery. luck

Thanks! I'm not used to games where you can examine every bit of your objects.

This is a game where you will be doing a LOT of that! Thankfully, it's craftily done within the game paramaters, and is quite easy. I'm really enjoying this game so far!

Now I'm playing as Max in Act II in the museum. I've called Ostankovich and I'm trying to call him again, but Max says he wants to examine everything first. I've looked at the paintings in front of and beyond the barrier, as well as the barrier, and the vases in the hall. What else should I look at?

Hi Phoenix,

Right-click on the barrier, see if Max can get any further information on it. Then try calling Ostankovic again.

Thank you. I also did not know right clicking on things would do anything different.
