Hi, Ana!
Thanks for the heads up. I'll be getting a freebie for the games I purchased in January, so I think I'll use it for "Sweeney Todd". What's even better, your freebie's go towards your 6 purchases for the month.
Susan Thanks for the info Susan! I wondered about that!! Linda

I am with you, Ana, and Susan. I bought the CE because I really liked Dire Grove and Dark Tales in the CE versions, but this one doesn't even have any extras until after you finish the game and it is mostly HOGs. I do like the snarky comments just like Dire Grove had, but I am going to be more careful on buying CEs in the future. I too am a adventure gamer and like to get inventory items to use in other places. Also I really want to support the developers.

Koalanut, I did not get to play much, maybe 45 minutes, but it seems like one HOG frame after another. The interactive parts seems inconsequential so far and dull. I'm hoping someone will tell me it gets better and more interesting. And yes, it's hard to take the adventure gamer out of your blood. Ana I agree! I am just glad I didn't buy the game without trying it. Demo's are so valuable. Too much HOG not enough IHOG and the HOG scenes that I saw were just junk piles and the objects very difficult to discern. I am loving games like Sultan's Labyrinth... it's HOG but it's part of objects you find not the object and there is plenty of IHOG too. Wish we could get more like this game.

I like this game a lot, the graphichs are so clear, that looking for the HO is not frustrating but challenging enough. A little too many junk pile scenes but it is consistent with the environment, where the story takes place. I like using the inventory objects in the different locations...It's a good game.

I agree that I could have had more IHOG, but I liked the game. In fact, I just finished playing it for the second time. I liked the music and the darkness of the theme. teddo

I played 38 minutes of the demo and I liked the story, inventory, and the adventure part. But it seemed to have quite a few HOG parts in those 38 minutes. I guess I like a IHOG with a little HOG and not a HOG with a little I. Does that make sense? I loved the HOGs when they first came out, but soon wanted more puzzles than HOG's. I will probably buy this one with one of my credits, cause I do like the story and the interactive parts. With the new deal at BFG, I am not making sure I limit myself to six (although my wallet screams for relief at times!)

I liked the game okay, but as others said would have preferred more interaction. Ended up popping for the CE, but sorry I did, would have been just as satisfied w/the reg version. Don't know about anyone else, but when I'm thru w/a game I'm thru... All I really found was a hint system, and am not one to to go back and do the item searches again, so the extra money only really got me the game early, IMHO.
