Can't believe I'm stuck at the beginning of the game!
I can not make the tea right!
I see on the Gameboomers walkthrough, the ingredients, but if I just follow that, I get a "yuck!" Am I suppose to only put some of them in?
How do you make tea?

Talk to Minette and take note of what she does and what she is wearing.

Then be sure to read the instructions completely.
Then you'll know which ingredient is needed to make the tea. Not all of them is used. Just those that fit Minette for that day.

Prepare the tea slowly so that you do not miss a tea that is required.
Check the pot is on the stove.
Add the each ingredient on the pot on the stove.

Instructions for making tea are confusing...unless it's just me. Numbers odd numbers herbs ending in consonants. What about the even numbers?
Wears a dress, Anser family. What about wearing pants?
When the herb should be chosen from a family of herbs, do you pick one not used or take all not used?

I'm playing the Dodo bird box game. I did the first one ok. The fox I haven't beaten. Looking at the walkthrough, it shows to start at the top and click left then down. In my game the Dodo bird starts at the bottom so walk through directions won't apply. Are there any others?
Secondly I seem to be changing days faster than according to the walkthrough. So if I get stuck and check it I see the days are off. Does that matter?

The picture at one of the GB walkthrough starts at bottom left (junior).

You can space out the actions-puzzles as long as the trigger is done (sequences)- there is no need to follow the days of the wt.

At the Hotel de Ville I can't get Jean Michel Traquenard to talk to me. He just asks me what I want now??? I need to make a trade with him but the dialogue is not there. I have played some things out of order according to the WT. I also backtracked to see if I missed anything. What if anything triggers talking to Jean and being able to prepare parfait?

I think the second time you talke to Jean Michel, he treated you to anything on the menu already.

Then later you go back to him and ordered again to get mint.

Now you want to ask him about the picture in the magazine. He should make a trade if you prepare parfait.
To get this, Nancy should have seen or read the magazine in Minette's office.
Walkthrough: The article on Minette written by Jean Michel Traquenard shows a picture of Minette in this office. Check-click the picture of Carol, the dress form and also see a cut off picture of Minette by the large gears.

Then read the red book from the the secret room.
Walkthrough: See a picture of M380 with a code under the picture. Click on the picture and Nancy will make a comment that it is similar to the paint covered gears in Minette's workroom.
