Played the demo, loved it, will also be going to my punchcard. Reminded me of Ravenhurst series.

Yes, RTR and Campfire Legends and Puppet Show. So many places to go and things to do...sometimes spooky.

This is a good game. Bought it after playing the demo for 5 minutes. I like the voices, clear graphics, colorful characters, and spooky atmosphere. It does have more Hog than IHOG but that doesn't bother me. I am really liking this one.That's 2 for the punch card, this one and Mishap. There is also a "sneak peek" on the main screen. I guess this is for their next game? It looks good as well.

I never purchase a game without playing the WHOLE demo... except this time. After 5 minutes I bought it using my Feb. credit. A very good game and it does remind me of RTR. Now that I've played 5 min. of it we have to go out for the evening... and I wont get to play for hours. At least I'll be excited to get home to play it.

I didn't hear voices until I got to the town.

Not to be a wet blanket, but there are a sizable number of people on the Big Fish forums reporting a game-stopping glitch involving a spider, although I know one person who got past this part without problems. So, just a heads up about this. Problems or no, I am going to wait until a new build goes up before I purchase the game.

I thought the portion of the demo I played was very enjoyable.

I have been playing for about 2-3 hours, didn't encounter any problems. Every time there is a character on the screen I move the cursor over him or her and a buble appears, clicking on it makes them talk, some of them sound pretty grumpy. I hope they will fix this glitch soon and everyone could enjoy the game in full.

Am I stuck or is it a glitch? I am at the castle ,have the notebook, the count has disappeared, I need a key for the butchers freezer machine, I don't think I have enough info to complete the door puzzle with the tokens (I have them all). My "to do" list tells me to return to the Burnt Out house for more clues, but nothing sparkles. The map highlights the Burnt Out room and the token door. Is it possible to do things in the wrong order?

I bought the game today but there is a big glitch. the game doesn't save as you leave it. then you have to start over from the beginning. I have mailed to BigFish about this problem and with me many people. so we're waiting for a solution.

Just to let you know I finished it. What a cracking game! My nether regions have died, but I couldn't leave it. Great story, fabulous puzzles and the notebook meant you should always know what you were trying achieve. (I know I posted for help, but I did have the info needed to complete the puzzle) One small gripe, it was necessary to return to the same scenes and the hidden objects were the same ones each time. I hope the glitches are sorted soon. My saves were fine and the voices worked for me. Highly recommended.

There are a couple known bugs that affect some people, but not most. We alerted the developer and have a new build we are testing now and if all goes well it will be released tonight and show up in Game Manager as a critical update.

My save works but I got some glitch. I can not pick up the last sapphire in the Backstage, the one above the collar. Clicking on it doesn't do, even when it's inside the hint.

Thank you, BFG-Guy; I have had no problems with the game and didn't encounter the problem with the spider, but it's fantastic how responsive the developers and Big Fish are in regards to these problems that some are experiencing.

I actually ended up buying the game knowing there was a possibility that I might have issues, but felt confident in doing so, knowing that if I did have issues that Big Fish would make things right!

I played the demo and was going to use my Club Credit to buy it because I really enjoyed it, but I think I'll wait until all of the bugs have been ironed out. I didn't have any problems with the demo, but then again I didn't get very far into the game either.

Just have to say I'm enjoying this game tremendously! Have been playing for, what seems like, hours, and have just reached Chapter 3. Kudos, Big Fish!

yeah....the spider, or lack of one when needed, got me too.....so I'll wait, At least I'm not alone, and a fix is on the way!

Love this game. Really makes you hunt and pay attention.

And talk about hidden objects...wow, some of them are REALLY hidden. I love the game BTW!

I also bought this game and I am enjoying it too.
I like having to do a task after finding all the objects, then solving a puzzle. The puzzles aren't to hard, but enough to make you think.

The HOGS are not easy...You have to really look good...They are well hidden..

I thought I was using my club credit but, unfortunately, I had clicked on the strategy guide by mistake, so I ended up getting a free strategy guide and paying $6.99 for the game. Even though my "slip of the fingers" cost me $6.99, it's well worth the price.

Hi all,
Had a problem with the spider. so re-downloaded and started over with the new fix.
Played it last night...got past the spider....but the game didn't save when I quit. So NOW I have to start over, but I'm not going to until I know that I can save my game when I need to. Any advice for me?

I'm playing on my 64-bit Win 7 and it saves when I exit and seems to be fine so far. The only glitches I've encountered have been self-induced!

Oh, my eyes! I need bleach for my eyes! An item I found in Hilda's bedroom simply does not bear thinking about!!

Finished game last night. It was a really good story line. I loved the ending puzzle.

You're not doing anything wrong because I ran into the same problem. Just keep clicking around the object you're trying to get and, eventually, you'll be successful.

Hi Darlene, I had the same problem too. Don't put the hook on the sparkles, put it slightly to the left, near the top of the pole. That's where it worked for me.

EDIT AGAIN: Finished the game! Whew! Thoroughly enjoyed it, although, the ending was...well, you'll have to discover for yourselves.

I absolutely loved this game, probably second only to Dire Grove or RTR for me. The hidden objects were wonderfully challenging (but with a nice backup hint system to keep you from getting too frustrated!) The puzzles were fun and challenging and the story line was interesting and engaging. I really liked the addition of the map with places of interest to go to, helped keep you from getting bored/frustrated wandering around the whole town to see what to do next. Bravo to the creators/developers of this game and to Big Fish as well!!! Cant wait for the next game they have previewed in the menu screen!

The game is great, but had 1 problem. I got to the "Final Puzzle" and positioned the pieces as shown in the WT. The pieces moved, but then I couldn't do anything else. My mouse disappeared and had to reboot. Still can't finish.

I tried it again and it worked fine that time. I had tried it several times last night, but no go. Today, just had to do it twice. Not sure what the problem was, but seems to be working now.

That happened to me too, Tammy, and to lots of other people on the Big Fish forums. Fortunately I was able to get past it, too.

I downloaded my game from the backup disk. Will reinstalling the game from the disk take care of the upgrade?

Started playing the free one hour. Regarding the backpack in the tree, I click on it and can't find the axe. I was going to buy this game, but, if this is the case, glad I didn't. Thanks.

Laurette there are what appears to be two backpacks inside the tree. Click on the one that is right under the shovel and an axe will appear, not the one with the fork in it. Then just click on the axe and it goes in inventory!!
