Just installed "theatre" episode 1 on my Asus Eee PC netbook - it plays wonderfully. But of course I'm still in the bedroom, having read the note, got the items from the bottom desk drawer, checked the clock and got the items from the bathtub and the sink, clicked the spyglass on the picture right of the door, turned on the light, but when I put the key into the keyhole in the door, I get a message, "something is still missing." And, oh, yes - I checked the map (in the dark, not sure how to illuminate the map) above the bed. What am I supposed to do to get out of the bedroom? And how do I get to the theatre? What am I supposed to do at the theatre?

Good game, though - reminds me of my college days when I took Acting class for 1 semester.

Thanks for telling me - this I did, I found the flashlight and the battery, but no matter how I try (by going into inventory and first dragging the battery onto the flashlight, then the flashlight onto the battery; then I got into a close up of the flashlight, but I cannot access my inventory to put the battery in - and I did click on the flashlight in close up mode, got message "no batteries."

I'm hopelessly stuck.

Chief - didn't you d/l these games and save them on your hard drive? Perhaps made a backup of them? You can play them off-line, like I'm doing on my netbook.

found the other battery, the pliers, the scotch tape, have the bobby pin, the cassette tape, looked at the black book in the desk drawer, read the yellow note, found the note under the bed, put the batteries in the flashlight, checked the map and found the theatre, checked the wooden dolls in the glass case in the bathroom, checked the picture to the R of the bedroom door, checked the clock for the time, and put the key in the keyhole, and still, "something's missing?"

What more do I have to do to get out of that bedroom and go to the theatre?

Did you find the paper-knife?Did you manage to open the door?

Yes, I found the paper knife. But what door do I open with this? If you mean the door to get out of the bedroom, could you please tell me how to use the paper knife to open it?

Look at it with the magnifying glass you pick up.

I am in almost the same boat as Cruise02 concerning leaving the room, though I have got the door open. But I don't know how to answer Buster Keaton. Can anyone help?

Cruise, examine the clock closely in the bathroom. And the plan: combine some items from Inventory.


Petert, you also need something from the bathroom, but in the showcase. If you can read the comment from B. Keaton again, you will understand (Disney).

Ok, I got the door open, with a "forward" arrow pointing at the open door. But when I click to go through the door, an "...eih" message appears.

Then I clicked on the picture to the right of the door, and a cross hairs appears on the man's eyes/nose. I tried clicking all of the objects in inventory in this area but nothing happened. Then I went back to the showcase in the bathroom hoping to take the dolls but they were un-takeable.

What am I supposed to do at this point?

Cruise, look closely at the middle one.

You do not need the entire doll.

I am now stuck in the room with the door slammed shut, staring at the picture, and with about 4 or 5 figures added to my inventory. But I shall find a way ....

Progressed as far as UKLYC on the scrap of paper, facing the tough canvas, but nothing seems to work on the canvas. Knife, thread, pliers - nothing.
Have I failed to collect something, or am failing to combine items in the inventory? Or what?

The developer has finished chapter 7 and he's working on chapter 8 at the moment.His original plan is to make 10 chapters of Teatro, hence he's nearly there!

Just started episode 2 early (wee hrs) this morning. It looks like I got my inventory back (by finding the suitcase), I talked to the statue, and I clicked "forward" to move up closer to the corridor, but that's all I can do - move forward and backward. I cannot move left/right.

What am I supposed to do now?

cruise, from where you found your Inventory, go left to find a screwdriver.

Ok, I did (and found) - in Episode 2 - everything up to the locked blue door, saw the eyes from my dream in the little window, took the items (3 of them) from the wall of boxes (or drawers), listened to the cassette tape recording (it said only "look at sky" or something similar), found the dryer, stepladder, cross, the Laurel and Hardy photo, put the brown person figure in the photo in the black door, but I cannot figure out where the black person figure goes in this photo on the door (if it goes there at all), couldn't figure out how to open the blue (with the eyes from my dream) door with no lock.

Also got the B & W photo from the L side of the corridor wall after fixing the light switch in the first room.

Help?

cruise, so you must still be in the room where you put the figures on the photo.

Put the figure that you have above the red ball on the photo.

When you get out, look up (at sky) at the ceiling.

Ok, Chief, I'm at Chapter 3. It's almost 5 o'clock and the opium smoker isn't letting me pass - something about a German - what am I supposed to do now?

OK, back down and to the car. Go right to some trees and a red box. You will have to go back and forth between the box and car to get what you need to open the box.

Wow - I finished chapter 3 already and am now on chap 4 - got my stuff from the box on the dresser, gave the girl a gift and am now downstairs - I think in the basement.

I have a jaggy blade, pliers, magnifying glass, and a flashlight. I can click forward (to the wooden door) I go thru it, but when I click on the rungs (ladder) my character says "something is missing." I can't click either left/right while in that room.

So I back out, and I can only click forward (to wooden door) or upper right (to chair). If I click on the thread, I get a kind of "cross-hairs" symbol, and when I click on the prompter's box in the ceiling with the magnifying glass, I get a message (wasn't paying attention to it - maybe something about something missing?) and when I click the hand on the padlock I get this same message.

I'm absolutely stumped - what am I supposed to do at this point?

Cruise, as you get in the basement, you find a white paper on the left.

You can go right diagonaly to a chair.

Go forward to the wooden door, but do not enter.

Between the chair and the wooden door, you should be able to go right to a clock.

Ok - I found the clock, hacksaw, 3 wooden spools, rag, sticks, and first, I went up the rungs, found myself in a kind of attic - what to do there?

Then I went back down, put the clock on the chair, used the hacksaw to cut it, got the key, tried to use the key on the padlock on the prompter's box, but my character says "I lost the cross, and I have a feeling I'm going to need it."

Click on the wood floor (in the attic) in the center, a bit to the left: see down.....

I'm up in the attic, spoke to Hamlet's dad, put the 3 spools into the floor and inserted the rope across the spools, and when I click between the spools, I get a white cross-hairs symbol.

And yes, I found the cross.

What do I do now?

Cruise, have a look at the cross in Inventory.

Go to the basement, the chair and the padlock.

Now I'm at the theatre (I think) I talked to the woman, took the tacks and "Lucky" note from the bowl, tied the rope to the bannister, found the note that says "go into the castle." but I tried this and it's too high.
