Hi Pollyanna,

You should be able to space travel out of there - click on the blue spiral icon at bottom right.

That didn't work, although I surely thought it would. Eventually the menu did function, and I loaded a saved game, careful to avoid that place on the moon again. Thanks for the quick reply.

I bought the game and just actually found time to play it... I like it BUT... is that all you do all through the game is do spells? I'm a bit sick of them already.

Please tell me the spells don't last the whole game.

NYLady -

Not quite. You will be thrilled, no doubt, to hear that there is a slider puzzle near the end. And what a slider it is!! Instead of numbers, or a picture to assemble, the buttons have these mystical ancient (Atlantean?) symbols. To make things a little more "interesting" some of them have to be rotated in addition to being in the correct position. I just finished doing it, and *blush* I even LIKE sliders. But whooeee, this one is tough.

MaG - thanks for the very helpful walkthrough (yes, I cheated). There is one tiny correction you might want to make. You say:
Quote:

Slider puzzle: Turn around and see 4x4 hieroglyphic slider puzzle.

Look close and then click on the parchment at top right.

The parchment shows the arrangement that is needed to be done.

Each tile can be clicked to show other hieroglyphs.

- should really say "Each tile will rotate 90 degrees when clicked repeatedly."

Also, NYLady - you will come across a mini-game where you have to shoot some glass tumblers with a revolver. The scene takes place in a saloon, so you can expect your aiming skills to be somewhat compromised by the presence of a wee bit of alcohol in your bloodstream.

And there is a part where you must sink some ships using a catapult, and another place where you need to direct a beam of light with some mirrors. Oh yeah, and just like Nancy Drew, you will be a short order cook for a time.

So; while there are several more spells to do - they are interspersed with various puzzles and chores.

Thank you, Polly.

Can you skip the slider puzzle?

No, there's no way of skipping any of the puzzles in this game. I rather enjoyed the slider - you might too! laugh

I finished the game and am sorry it's over. I did get a reply from BFG re saved games. I have one after shooting the ships and instructions on how to use a save, if anyone is interested.

Also, I usually don't like sliders, but once you get the technique, they are "sort of" fun.

That would be good to know, Laurette. If you could post the instructions here, we'd appreciate it. Thanks. smile

Below are instructions I got from BFG:

You're correct about the "Pref" file. You can send this to someone if they wanted your saved game. They'll just have to replace their own "Pref" file in the Green Moon folder. Once they open up their game, they should see all your saved profiles.

Please note the location my vary for this "Pref" if they have a different operating system like Windows Vista or Windows 7. I've listed the save location for these to help you guide them.

Like before the folder is in a hidden folder.

For Windows XP:
C:\ --> Documents and Settings --> USERNAME --> Application Data --> PlayFirst --> Green Moon

For Windows Vista and Windows 7:
C:\ --> Users --> USERNAME --> App Data --> Roaming --> PlayFirst --> Green Moon
