I'm following a weekly singing contest here in the UK where pop stars attempt opera - after some training, of course

Well Marcella Detroit (from Shakespears Sister) is one contestant who absolutely has the voice for it and she is SO impressive !!

In only week 2 she gave a performance of a Madam Butterfly aria that was just totally fantastic

Absolutely awesome! That is a show I would definitely look forward to watching (every week, like our American Idol etc?). She is truly blessed with a wonderful gift. Thanks for sharing

I should have said that only a portion of the aria was performed, of course.
The time allotted wouldn't allow for more - irrespective of a contestant even being able to attempt more

I have heard that a cd of Fabio singing opera arias is amazing, but I have yet to track it down.
Anyone heard it?

Which Fabio? I found quite a few and don't know which is the one you want.
