Hi,
I downloaded Runaway 3 "A Twist of Fate" over a week ago, and just completed it tonight.
Great game, and it's fun getting back to 'adventuring' after an absence of a couple of years!

I was lucky that I played Runaway 3 right after finishing Runaway 2. (which I started over a year ago, and had put aside without finishing until recently).

I liked the new game, with the built in hint system. I also liked the 'review' feature, to remind you what you've done so far. Good story and puzzles, but it did seem shorter than the other 2. I also missed Sushi's character.

Oh, and if you haven't played yet, be sure to watch the closing credits to the end!

Thanks for the info, nolalou! Yes, you are very lucky to have played Runaways 2 and 3 back to back. I played 2 when it first came out, and I'm still waiting for the third to come out in disk form. smile

Sorry to hear that it is shorter than the first two, and Sushi is not present. I prefer lengthy games, and Sushi was my favorite character. frown

On the other hand, I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed it quite a bit. I've heard many positive things about the game. It seems like a lot of people consider it the best in the series. Did you feel this way, too?

Thanks for the tip about watching the credits to the end. It's always nice when there's a bonus scene to look forward to. thumbsup

Venus, you can see Sushi if you use the hint feature (I think)

L4L, I thought that was Joshua you could see. duh Well, I hope that is true because that would be great. smile

I'm sure I'll enjoy the game either way, though. I love the Runaways in general, not just because of Sushi. grin

(Even though I do think Brian should have picked her over Gina. devil)

Venus, I agree wholeheartedly with Sushi being the better choice. wave

Any chance it'll be released as a DVD? I hate doing downloads (except for GOG) because I want to own the game.

The website says it will release in March here. But I don't know whether that's in the UK or if it's being released elsewhere.

This is the 1st adventure game I've downloaded, and I had no problems, except it comes in several parts that have to be downloaded separately. I believe it says you can burn a copy to DVD, so you do 'own' a copy, as far as I can tell. Once downloaded and installed , it plays like any game installed on your computer, you don't need to be on the internet or log onto any game site.

The help system does use Jonathan, not Sushi. He appears depending on your progress and gives an appropriate hint, and in some cases , lets you choose what you want a hint about.

Becky, you have very good taste. grin

Mj2c, I know, it is a shame there won't be any more Runaways. Perhaps the creators will make a new game with a different story, though. That would be nice. smile

Is there an activation number to type in when you first play the game?
