I am attempting to play The Hardy Boys: The Hidden Theft

The game has shut down obn me a # of times,
requiring re-dos frm my last save.
Got carried away this time and it shut down @ the very end.
Does anyone have a save for just after the gear puzzle?

I sent you the last grandfather clock puzzle (gear). I hope that is where you are now.

Got it but can't figure out how to use it.

The files I sent to you are not zipped.
I sent you 2 files: One a .jpg (picture) and one .dat (text file).

Just follow the instructions I sent:
Download both files to desktop.
Open the The Adventure Company\The Hardy Boys - The Hidden Theft\data\SaveData folder and check the last number there.
Renumber the 2 files sent to be the last number.
Then place those 2 renumbered files together with the rest of the files in the SaveData folder.
Close all folders and play-load as usual
