i would like to play the uru games on pc only to start with. i went to amazon,but i am totally confused as to what i need to buy - i especially want to play path of the shell, but don't know what else i need ,since that's an expansion pack ? help,please ?

Buy Uru: Complete Chronicles. You'll be able to play the main journey and the shell one, as well as explore D'ni. My copy hasn't worked for years but I have an old one.

Nightowl I've seen the boxed version of URU Complete Chronicles at BestBuy and Target recently just last week. I think it was $19.99.

And there is one on EBay for 14.31 with free shipping...

niteowl--know how that is with dial-up..i have a Windstream dsl-lite which is just a tad (barely a 'tad)faster than dialup. the Online game you wouldn't be able to play i don't believe..you need a bit faster connection. MOUL(MystOnline:UruLive)is reason i have the dsl-lite that i have..i got it last year-year before last when i heard it was going to be online..ahhaa. one of these days will get a really nice and fast cable connection...one of these days....I do have another thought ...there are USB mobile modems available too now...through your cell companies (sometimes the cable companies too!)... i don't know how for online play they'd be..but i have one for laptop and have dowloaded games from Bigfish and get the windows updates,etc., and the speed seems to be at least as fast if not faster than my dsl-lite on the desktop pc!..so that might be an option to consider.
