I was so lost in this game, I started over. I'm using a Gameboomer's walkthrough now.
On page 6, Via Savardina, I clicked on services/select Jovis. But then I'm suppose to click services again, start, jumping to, then select Tiberio. And there is the problem. There is no Tiberio. As I recall, there was no Tiberio the other game I abandoned (because I was constantly lost!)I wonder what I missed that would have inserted that location?
Thank you for your help.

kdj,

Check the walkthrough.

See that the walkthrough has blue text. The blue text as stated is for the Italian release.
Tiberio is found only on the Italian release.

So if your game is the NA release - please follow the black text only. luck

thanks for the Amazon tip, Rushes ... I checked it out, but it's not going to work for me

There's a 'new' game listed, but $80 - I don't think so. There are lots of used ones listed, and I checked out several - all said 'could not ship to this address' - maybe they don't like Canadians, eh

How about bidding on eBay? They have one up for auction right now, current bid $0.99, and will ship worldwide.

eBay auction

It's worth a shot!

Edit: Just noticed that there's only 2 hours left to bid on this. Hurryhurryhurry!

Wonderful! I saw the auction had ended and thought someone else had snaffled it. Glad you won. thumbsup

I need advice about the Tourist Informer. So far I have not been able to complete the phrases. I have looked at the walk through but still can't get it. Anyone know if this is crucial to the game?
Thanks! from kdj

The sentence to be formed is a trigger for you to see the tablet at Arco Naturale.
You will then be able to take a picture of the tablet.

Go ahead and continue. I think that you played the informer might be enough to trigger it. luck

thanks for the hint, Rushes ... I checked out that old thread, but it didn't help

I'm about ready to give up ... the map shows two blue dots, each mark Greengrocer, but they're on different streets ... I thought one might be the house

Before you can find the greencrocer's house and the gate (key) - you have to find out first where it is located.
The maid at the banker's house will tell you that banker went to Traversa Sopramonte near the Greengrocer's house. Now you know where the greengrocer's house is located.
You are asked to bring the newspaper to the banker by the newsagent.

ho hum, it's me again, and I need help again

thanks for previous help, MaG ... I've been moving right along, but stuck again

I'm at Villa Jole. I'm supposed to talk to the niece and give her the cheese in exchange for cacao. When I press the buzzer, she doesn't answer. Then I tried doing the cheese exchange, but that doesn't work. I guess you have to talk to some one first.

Is the game linear? Maybe I missed something critical way back somewhere.

menahune,

Double check that you have the correct cheese. It should be shaped like a duck. You bought it from the second deli.

only the upper buzzer works as yet ... still no reply from the niece

Did Rafaele's mom ask you to deliver the cheese to her niece?

Rafele's house: (18) Go forward until you see stairs on the left (Via Belvedere Cesina). Climb the stone steps, forward until door with purple flowered vines. Turn left and up the stairs. Press the Nannini buzzer and talk to Rafele's mother. She wants you to go to the niece at Villa Jole and bring her caciocavallo. The money is in lantern by Uncle's house.

Are you sure you are in the correct house?

I'm sure there are a lot of gamers that played without walkthrough. I remember them posting when the game came out. I think there was even a contest associated with the release.

needing help again, please

the photographer has loaned me a camera and asked me to take a picture of the memorial tablet ... I'm at the end of Via Dentecala, and followed the walkthru ... turn right, turn around, see cliffside. I took two photos, one from a distance and one up closer

when I return to the camera store, I can't put the camera on the counter ... it just stays in 'click' mode

did I miss something here?

thanks for your hints and suggestions

menahune,

Did you see the memorial tablet from afar?

The walkthrough states:

Go to the very end of Via Dentecala to a lookout point. Face the water and then turn around-then right in order to see the cliffside.

yes, I did that ... faced the water, turned around, then right

I saw a big cliff and clicked photo, went closer and clicked again

I'm going back now and try again

day 3 - still stuck on the camera problem ... went back and did the message puzzle at the Tourist Informer again in case I'd not done it properly - then back to take photos again at the cliff and restaurant

back at the camera shop, the camera is still in click mode on the bottom right of frame

if I can't get past this, I'll just roam around Capri and enjoy the scenery

I wonder if you can look close at the counter of the camera shop and can you lay it anywhere in the shop. Also is the man in there? Are there any other active spots in the shop?
Can you examine the camera in inventory?
