For those of you who need instructions for cryptic crossword clues, check out this page .

These have all been created by a variety of well-known constructors. There may be one or two that we might question, but they're still fun. Please explain all answers.

-1. What golfers shout to alien woodsman (6,6)
-2. Prominent part of proposal I entertain (7)
-3. The man notices sound coming from grave marker (9)
-4. Committee is not interested in speech (5)
-5. Friar ogles, grabbibng part of leg for pranks (12)
-6. Agriculture in remote Chinese dynasty (7)
-7. Put back in control, say (9)
-8. Stretch of funny, long stocking (5)
-9. Paints ten camels without heads (7)
-10. Shiny boat bottoms turned up (5)

Camels without heads = amels
en from ten + amels = enamels = paints

Shiny = Sleek (direct)
boat bottoms = keels
turned up = reversal indicator
