Hi again~ wave
it's your Friendly Neighborhood Virus catcher lol
this time I seemed to have picked up the oh so NOT lovely
WORM Virus that attaches itself to emails/attachments
I think? the risk it says is 1-5 and it's a 5 risk (of course)
I would never get anything but the worst! laugh
the name of this worm is;

WORMwin32,netsky

is their a cure for it?? can anyone Please help me get rid of
this icky yicky worm??

i USE WIN XP ~AOL free is my email
AVAST is my Virus protector. and I use Microsoft Security
essentials. I ran CC cleaner
MSE found 12 viruses & removed them, I have ran both virus scans 12 times so far and everytime I reboot the message
keeps coming up it found the Wormwin32.netsky on my
computer & it says I need to run a Full scan.
well I have run full scans 12 times. is their anything else I
can do??

Thank you very very much~Doc aka Karen puppy

I think Pokey meant a fake Anti-Virus. They are legion out there right now and yours is the real thing. I would follow kazzmo's suggestion and download, update and run Malwarebytes first. If that doesn't get rid of it, Pokey's link has a removal tool from Symantec.

Not right now, but if I get any Ole and Ida jokes, you will be the first to know!

Let us know how the Malwarebytes scan turns out. Right now I'm using Microsoft Security Essentials. Jenny recommended it to another member in another post.
