I did find a couple of referenced to people getting stuck in the orphanage, but no solutions. Think I'll call it a day for now! _________________________ If life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Fortunately, my dear son just got me out by committing suicide and then I automatically was revived outside the locked room in the vita chamber and all I lost was one health kit. When I got upstairs and after I wandered around a bit, a splicer locked me in a room. Just in case, I'll go to spoiler tags... Click to reveal.. The splicer came up to one of the gates and I smacked him several times with the drill and killed him - from my side of the gate. Then one of the great big guys (forget the name) broke open one of the gates and came after me. After I killed him, the gate stayed open and I could leave. I killed the guy just outside the gate (not inside) just as he triggered the gates closing. Since he is now dead outside the gates, I could not trigger anyone to come break down the gates.
