I did it . I did it! I finally sank the ships.
When I came to this timed mini game I groaned in despair and got just a little bit angry.
Having mothballed Azada mid-game because I cannot yet get quick enough to beat the robot, I thought I was going to have to put this one on ice too.
Many people on the Big Fish forum have given up on Green Moon totally. I was beginning to think these games were really not worth the money if you can only play a bit of them.
The a woman on the forum got her husband to try the ships as he is used to first person shooter games. He said it was a doddle. So I kept on trying, and I did get faster and more accurate. Finally cracked it - so to anyone getting frustrated at this point in the game I say "Keep at it". Unless you do have impaired mobility - you will do it in the end.
Did I say that I sank the ships!

I tried ,and tried <sigh> Then I had to get Hubby to do it who is an expert first person shooter in games...

I think it was your posting that I read about the hubby who liked first person shooters.
I'm glad you did that posting because it did inspire me to get better at it. He thought it was easy so I thought I would get it eventually.
And the funny thing was - I enjoyed the trying, even when unsuccessful.
(Unlike the Castle Malloy sheep gathering!)

I too love to do a puzzle by myself...But..This one got to me..Only because I had to use the keyboard to maneuver the hands..So I got frustrated

Hey you guys! Don't be too hasty to give up too soon...I sank those ships after about 3 or 4 tries and then later came up against the "drunk shoot the glasses" minigame - BUT, made sure to save my game with 1 gold coin in my inventory before I tried, failed, reloaded the save and tried and failed again and reloaded etc again and again etc...found just the right 'groove' for succeeding to hit 3 and I WON MY BULLET! HOORAY! what fun! Hang in there and you can do it too (P.S. I hate shoot-em-up games!)

That's amazing, Betty Lou that you found the Sinking Ships quite easy and yet had quite a few tries on the drunken shoot.
Mine was the reverse - with the drunken shoot only needing a second go....now what does that say about me I wonder....!

Ho hum! I didn't sink the ships... My daughter tried for me and failed. I am jealous of all you that are navally(?) adept!
