I'm in chapter one at the start I can't seem to move anywhere and it's not showing all hot spots i talked to the dr. got the amulet that belonged to his mother but now i can't leave can somebody help me please the hot spots i get are both the graves the dr. and the horizen

I haven't played this game, but all hotspots should show up when you hit the space bar. If hotspots aren't currently enabled you can enable them from Options at main menu.

Did you pick up the sword yet? MaG's walkthrough states:

Go right and look at the statue of Admiral Benbow. Take the sword held by the statue.

Go right and exit the cemetery.

All the hotspots will show up. but they are often very difficult to see against a tan or gold background. (The game has a lot of tan rock or sand.) It's sometimes still necessary to use the cursor to find them.

i have the hot spots turned on but i can't get the sword i can't move anywhere, i can look and pickup the amulet and look at the graves but can't seem to be able to move anywhere

I have a suggestion which may apply. I just finished the game and npticed that every once in a while something that I needed to find or do was at the very extreme right of the screen. Sometimes it was almost off the screen. I assumed that the problem occurred because my new monitor needed some adjustment, but perhaps it's a minor glitch. I mention it only because to leave the cliff the first time I remember that Jim goes off to the right of the screen.

ok i think i got it running right i reinstalled the game and it seems to be working thanks for your help anyway
