I heard this morning about the devastating earthquake in Chile. They say that other areas are going to be affected by the tsunamis. We have a lot of friends here in these countries, please if you can login and let us know you are alright.

I just saw that Hawaii also has a tsnami warning predicted for them. My prayers go out to all the areas and people affected. May God Bless them and keep them safe.

I'm adding my prayers to all affected by this quake and any tsnami's it causes.

We were under tsunami advisory for most of the day but as far as I know they have all been lifted. Thank God!! This could have been so much worse. Many prayers for the Chileans.

Thank you so much for your concern. We are fine here, south of the epicenter, but without much internet and we cannot travel till repairs are made and supplies come, including gasoline.

We are so glad Lotus and Beasong that you are both ok. What a devastating thing to go through. I still haven't heard from my friend in Australia or our other friend in Hawaii yet. Keeping my fingers crossed for them.

Hawkavonpuka lives in the high elevations of the big island of Hawaii, so, in her words, if there was a tsunami that reached that altitude, it would be something from a horror movie! She said that down on the coast they had several large waves of very dirty water, but that was all.

Thanks for letting us know draclvr. I guess my Australian friend must be having other problems. It's too bad, he's a really nice guy and I wish him all the best.
