I'm ready to scream. I'm following the walkthrough that came with the game; HOWEVER, I have folded, re-folded and re-folded and re-folded the wrapping paper to trigger the clue that will allow me to continue the game. I am getting NOWHERE and pulling hair out.
Can ANYONE PLEASE give me a clue as to how to fold that wrapping paper???!!!
Judy

Hi Judy, Let's wait for help from someone currently playing the game.

Thank you for the post. I will keep trying in the meantime, but can't wait for a reply from someone who may actually have gotten past this part of the game.

boots, orient the paper so that "53G" is clearly visible and right side up. You might need to use the arrows along the horizontal and vertical edges to flip the paper around to this orientation.
Now use the left arrow on the right vertical crease, the up arrow on the lower horizontal crease, and finally the right arrow on the left vertical crease.
This will display 6, 8, Q and a heart. Nicole will respond when you have it right.

RonRob,
I was so excited when I saw your reply. I immediately opened the game and tried your solution. The 53G is CLEARLY upright and visible in the left portion of the paper.
I can click the left arrow on the right vertical crease and I can click the right arrow on the left vertical crease (there are 2 vertical creases and a white edge around the entire paper).
However, when I try to use the UP ARROW on the lower horizontal crease, I cannot get an UP arrow, and there is no "crease" at the bottom - just a very narrow white edge. I get something like a C0 Q and Heart no matter what I try. Your info is perfect, if only I had a bottom crease and could use the "up" arrow. I must still be doing something wrong. Any idea what? I'm so lame - sorry.

SORRY AGAIN - I finally GOT IT. I went right back to the game and followed your instructions again. I couldn't use the up arrow at the bottom edge, but was finally able to use it further up and I finally got the 68 Q Heart.
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH. Now I'm certain I will be stuck again; but I'm so relieved to get past that point.

bootskitty, good for you - - and no, you're not lame. Where I said "lower horizontal CREASE," it sounds like you read "lower horizontal EDGE." Hard to say.
To solve this puzzle, I actually had to take out a sheet of graph paper, lay out the blocks, and hand draw all the doodles on both sides. Then I physically folded the paper every which way until I saw something that jumped out at me. This one was a toughie.

Well, I knew it was only a matter of time. I've gotten through some hard parts - now - this seems simple - but I have to mark a map of areas in Louisiana based upon two maps I have and a green marker, and the game will not allow me to mark anything. I attach the maps to the map board, try to mark it, and I keep getting told that it's not gonna happen. What the heck??? As always, I can't advance until I mark the map and talk to my partner - ugh! bootskitty -
Did you turn on the map light? The switch is along the left side of the map board.

There is another walkthrough of Cards of Destiny on edited out. It can be translated from Dutch to English. It contains a diagram of the solution to the Folding puzzle. I followed it and it worked.
