May I ask a question about one of the free games here, it's 5 days a stranger & I believe it's an Action Adventure game ? also, the forum for free games/5das blocks my attempts to sign up ??

The game's website states that it is an adventure game with a horror theme. If you're currently playing and stuck, post your question and I'm sure you'll get an answer.

I cannot locat the body in the basement, I have tried for 3/4 days..have the stick,cord,bear,salt, waived over the bed did lots of looks & all pointed to basement, have walked all over the basement & no interaction with the grave, I saw the pic where the grave is & nothing, nodda, zip... suggestions please

Did you already take a look at Len Green's walkthrough HERE?

Make sure that you have read the green, red and blue books, and also the cutting Phil gave you, and the newspaper.
Did you also read the occult book in the library?

It might shake something loose if you go back to a saved game near the beginning of Day Three and replay exactly by the walkthrough. Let's wait for help from someone who's played the game meanwhile.

This is not the usual go back to a saved game and try again kind of game, I went back to 2 diff saved games & no luck... I may try again another day fr the beginning another, but I'm done with it for now..

If possible, try not to give up - it would be a pity.
I remember that this was VERY tricky and that very many players have had the same trouble as you.
I can't remember what triggers it - I only know for certain that it can be done.

Thank you all...I do have the teddy bear detector, stick, cord, bear.. but all it has ever done was hang down from the cord & stick, no movement on it ( if it's supposed to move ) I have also stepped & inched my way all over that basement, looked at the pic of where the bodies are .. still ??? ok I'll try again soon.

Please let us know if you succeed - or maybe I shouild say when you succeed since one way or another, although very tricky, it obviously can be cracked.

In that case it would be vbery helpful to post here what you did exactly in order to succeed since many people have been held up at exactly this point - and others will quite likely follow and your experience can help greatly.

Thanx again Chief, I did read your msg & retried the stick, cord, bear indicator, but it has always just hung down. I must have missed doing something what it is I don't know, I've gone over everything in my inventory & still ?/

Boo, did you dip that combo in salt in the kitchen to get salty bear + stick and then this combination over Matthew's bed as said in the black book from the library (white in Inventory)

Just cuz ... thought I'd let you know, I restarted this game, alllllllll the way fr the beginning & got stuck again in the basement trying to find the corps... I am officially moving on.

Agh, Boo, how frustrating.

Ah - what a pity.
I think you must have done someting 'wrong' - probably something very small.
Others have also had troubles but afaik have somehow succeeded.
It's too long ago to remember just how.
