I have the 4.4 charcter modifer for Torchlight. I have it in a zip file or rather I can get it to unzip, the only thing is I cannot get it to compress (??) I believe it should be saved in the torchlight game file, but I do not know how to do this. Games I can play, but tech I am hopeless with. Any help I would appreciate it??

I have a vista, 1 Terabyte of Hard Drive , more than enough ram and my computer was just worked on and cleaned.

Are you saying you want to zip this "character modifier" and the game file into the same zip file?
Are you doing this to back it up?

No I want to unzip the character modifer and put it into the game file with Torchlight, that is where I am having the problem. I can get it to unzip, but when it says save to it does not give me the option of a game folder.

Just unzip it to some folder where you can find it and drag it into the game folder afterwards.
You can't unzip it into a file, but you can unzip into the same folder that contains the Torchlight file.
