Good Morning Boomies, Woke up with a blinding migraine early this morning but took some meds and went back to sleep and thank goodness it's much better.
I tool a shower with Shadow, always a treat. He hates getting a bath and by the time we were done it looked like I shaved a black bear in there. My and the shower were covered in black hair.

At least he looks pretty now for company.

I have to fly to the store real quick and then I'm home for the day. Company comes and two more dogs so it'll be fun for sure. My back yard is part lake, part mud so sending them out to play is not an option.

Wow, busy day! Eldest's birthday and I've been cooking and am heading back up to cook again. Cake all made and the PerBear has tasted it and pronounced it good.

He got out of eyeshot this morning and we caught him just as he was grabbing a handful

I've been doing laundry so Mt. St. Laundry is about 1/2 conquered.

Off to cook some more and clean some more---funny how those two things are linked---but hey, you only get one birthday a year

niteowl you make a good point. We need to make sure we stop the clock on a weekend.
The rain held off for much of the day which made my doggies very happy.

Got a call from my students Mom. Maureen had another grand mal seizure and they had to call 911 last Tuesday. She is coming in for a lesson tomorrow but the Mom wanted to let me know what was going on. Oh Lord, I feel so bad for them. Maureen is such a sweetheart.

Hi everyone. It was a grand day today full of laughs and smiles. THe dogs are exhausted as are we.

At the moment I am trying to broil some greek pork chops for lunch. Not too sure how well I'm doing, I rarely use the broiler. I miss the bottom broilers, I was good at those.

Quiet day here, hope all are having fun.

SAm says thanks for the birthday wishes, her real birthday is St Pattys day.

Ana, I'm glad you had a grand day! You deserve one or two or three.

We had a great day too... Mr. P kept us laughing. He decorated his daddy's cake, and then immediately blew out the candles.

Then he helped dad open presents, and then they came down to play his Fishing game. Remember the one with the fish that go round and round and you pull them out with a plastic fishing line.

Well, Mr. P problem solved that one very quickly. He reached down, picked up a fish and put it on his line and proudly announced "I caught one!"

Now he and dad are negotiating bed time. How can 1 2 year old exhaust 3 adults

I've been playing a game for a couple of hours but I'm looking at the time and I've decided to call it a night.

Oh Bets I'm so sorry about Maureen. That's awful.
