wave well, i'm up,but not happy. very tired - ran into the landlord this morning and told him i had to call the cops @ 1am last night. i had gone around and down, and there were 2 propping themselves up and smoking - asked them to keep it down. same thing an hour later, only when i went round the corner, this one was holding my rail and being sick. apparently, they were all soooooo drunk down there, the police parked across the street for over an hour to make sure no one tried to drive. took them until 2am to all fall down, and be quiet. sheesh.

karen - i'll do a little ring work to see how her hock is first - i'll need to shoe for trail - way too many rocks, and i don't want to do that if she can't flex it properly. we shall see.

it's a beautiful sunny day here happydance so i must run and do errands - back later!

everyone have a good time while i'm gone, hear ?! thumbsup

Morning y'all.

Been to the grocery store. On the way, my emission light came on so now I have an appointment with Midas to get it checked out at 12:30 today, so that means lunch a tad bit early today.

Gotta go do a few things. Back later.

Bets

is it mm..m...monday? or a full moon? had to call the landlord - no hot water or lint filters in the laundry room- one of the other tenants shut off the fuse to the water heater, "because it takes too long to fill" ,and pitches the filters so he can stuff more clothes in.

i don't seem to be able to get anything done today on schedule !

Oh my gosh, I set up a big work table so I could work with Skywalker without bending over. Put him up there and zoom, up came my Keoki, with arthritis! Silly puppy dog! Will know to put him out first before I start handing out treats on top of that table wave

Yes they are always a source of delight!

Lil Mr Skywalker decided he should be the one to bring the newspaper (after I brought it inside) to me in the kitchen this morning. He was so proud!

Aw how cute L4L.

Vet called and said the med was just right for Cory. Won't have to get another blood test for a year.

Got my car fixed and took the dogs for a walk. It is a beautiful day and we are going to take advantage of it and grill out tonight. Tomorrow night Susie and Vince are coming over along with our neighbor up the street and we are going to grill out again.

awwwwwwwwww!

my old golden would never retrieve - in her mind,i threw it away because i didn't want it, but she would pick up "gifts" on a walk and carry them until we got home,so she could give them to "people" - turkey feathers for the cat to play with, for example, or a stick or stone for a guest.

Aw L4l happy training!!! What are you training for on a table? headscratch Usually one trains to keep them off the table. lol

Niteowl Sassy will fetch a stick but try to get it from her when she ets back with it. lol Then we play tug-o-war.

Bets that is good news about Cory. happydance

Bets, so glad to hear that Cory's meds are already regulated. Cooking out sounds great! I've got a flank steak that I need to get marinading.

Niteowl, our Seagy looks at the boys like they are nuts...no interest whatsoever in retrieving.

Nan, the table training serves 2 purposes. If he is used to being up on a table, then when we go to the vet's and they put him up, it's not stressful. And most importantly, it's easier for me to reach feet, ears, etc to clean clip check if I don't have to bend down to the floor. Bending has always hurt my head quite a lot, so if I can avoid it, I do.

We will however, be training not to get on the table unless called up rotfl Probably won't work though if the goodies on the tables are too alluring! I am very well trained to keep the yummies put away.

Man, my Monday's are really long!

Just found a BB broke the window in my tenant's house. Dunno from where, but I suspect someone in the apartments is shooting at the feral cats or maybe birds. I sure hope I don't find a missing or injured kitty! Will have to watch tonight. Hate having to go out to spy hoping to see someone with a gun. Ugh. When I tried to call my 'old' glass company who did tons of windows here, found out they had moved or closed. Called about 6 more and found they now do ONLY car windows. Finally got one guy who gave me another number who does do windows. Not punny.

They can't come out till late Monday afternoon and will charge me $110 and a bit more if the glass is bigger than I measured. I'm sure they will find a way to charge more. So expensive! Gonna call my insurance company and see if my Landlord's policy will cover this. Probably not. I think it's probably 'vandalism' and I opted out of that because of the cost. Oh well. Crossing fingers.
