Have started Episode 5 already. I'm in the theatre, on the stage where there's a chest of drawers, chair, sofa, rug, and some steps. Next I went off to the side where the ladder is, found & read the green note, it said "C 4". Then saw the stage with the red curtain, I clicked on this, got a message, "no ropes to raise the curtain" - not the exact words, but this is basically what it meant. Then went to the other side of the stage with the door with no lock - (as per player message) then removed the red drape from the chess table in the corner and collected all the items on it.

Now what am I supposed to do?

Look under the rug to pick up an item. There is also an item to pick up on the stairs.

In Inventory, look at the back of the picture: something to do there.

Ok, I picked up the note on the steps, got the razor from under the rug and I used it to cut off a piece of the backing off of the photo - there is something inside that said something about a sailor - what to do next?

I wonder if that sailor plays chest. (C-4)

Good idea! How do I find out? Can't think of any chess pieces names starting with the letter "C", tho

still stumped.

EDIT - tried placing the little sailor nicknack on the chess board, but in vain - nothing happens - really stumped now.

Ok, Chief - I properly placed the sailor knicknack and that door with no lock opened > black room > turn on light > typewriter. Can't figure out what to put in/on the roller, tho.

Look for something to pick up at the bottom of the typewriter.

You will eventualy need to look at those 2 sheets of paper you have in Inventory.
