I'm feeling really dumb about now..In Pa's I tried to pick up the items for the disaster kit without checking the WT. Obviously I've done it wrong. How do I put back the things I picked, and do it correctly? Thanks, Gillann

Hi, gillann!
Did you try opening up the bag in your inventory? If you spent too much money, there should be an option to return the items you don't want.
Make sure you check the color of the tags and take advantage of the specials. I ended up with $.20 left over.

Hi Gillann, Click on your basket in inventory and you'll see all your items in close-up. Click on any item and you'll see a box "Return this item? Yep/Nope". Click on Yep to return the item back to the shelf.

I'm having trouble collecting the mioe near Debbie. Had no problem with the ones in Scott's office. I put the cage down, but can't get the cheese in it. The "candy" is in a box upper left corner, and if I click on it, the cage goes back into inventory. What to do? Gillann

Are you sure you actually have another pack of the cheese candy, or are you just clicking on the icon where the candy should appear? I'm wondering if there's no candy there to put in the trap and so that's why the cage is going back into your inventory. Check your grocery bag and see if you do have a spare pack of cheese.

Hi, Rushes. I went back to Pa & Ma's and bought 3 more cheese things. I'd also bought another kind of candy prior...I have the cheese in inventory, but can't get it into the cage. Not sure what to do... Gillann

Hmmm, I'm assuming that you spoke to Debbie and she asked you to catch the mice in her area? Perhaps try dialogue with her again, then have another go with the trap and cheese. You're also very welcome to e-mail me your last dated save and I'll take a look at it for you.

That happened to me too. Nancy was eating the cheese. I put the cage down, then I clicked on the bag of groceries the cheese would show up I would click it once and then click inside of the cage and it would go in and the puzzle would start.
I had to figure it out quick Nancy was getting chubby from the cheese.

Another day, another problem. I've tried repeatedly to pick up the mice at Ma n' Pa's, but no luck. The first go around, I forgot to take the mice from Frosty's area to the Spring House. Did that...several times, but the cage won't go into place at Pa's. The cheese that Pa gave me vanished, so I bought more..still no luck. What to do? Thanks! (also found out I'm a terrible driver!) Hi, gillann!
Are you trying to put the mousetrap down in the correct spot? It's to the right of the Homesteader display beside a pile of corn. If you face the Homesteader display, you should get a hot spot on the ground.
Good luck!

I had the darndest time with that one too. I came at that hot spot from every direction and could never get the trap to set down. There was never any corn either. I tried from so many ways. Then I followed MaG's exact directions and the corn was there.
Thanks again to MaG how does she do it??? I hope you've gotten it already. c

HI all! I can get the trap down in the correct spot occasionally...the problem is that the cheese Pa gave me disappeared. I Saved the game, as the mouse was approaching the trap, but when I went back the cheese was gone. Pa says not to come out till the mice are gone. I did manage to buy more cheese, but now can't find the hot spot, and corn. It's a mystery. Think I'm going to have to go way back to a Save, and start over. Hate driving all about to the Spring House with the mice from Frosty's area, but don't know what else to do. Gillann

Hi, gillann!
Are you remembering to take the cheese from the upper left-hand corner of your screen and not from your inventory so Nancy doesn't eat it?
Try restoring your saved game after you've set down the mousetrap and, if you already have purchased the cheese, you should be able to catch the little devils.
Good luck!
Susan

Hello all.Well,I went back to a Save-Scott's office-and replayed the whole thing..In the barn, checked the hose, Chance's boots, got call from Pa. Took mice to the Spring house and went to the store. Pa gave me the cheese, went to place the cage lower right of Homestead display (active cursor), but no pile of corn this time. Now what? I have the cheese in inventory, and in the upper left hand corner, but can't do anything. Gillann

Are you trying from the close up view? This is the only way I saw the corn and got the puzzle to play. From MaG's walk through.
*While facing the homesteader display (not close up), move cursor to bottom right of screen.
Click on active spot. See a pile of corn on the floor.

Hi, again. I'm having a problem fixing the TV. I've checked both WTs and still can't do it. I've been following the layout that NancyDrewfan provided clicking on the knobs...red first, then green and blue, but nothing is happening. Is there a trick to this? Gillann

I'm hopeless. I used both MaG's WT, and NancyDrewFan's, and am still stuck. I did manage to get rid of the red circle, but cannot get the green, or blue part of the puzzle. Maybe because the pattern makes my eyes cross! I'll stick with it for a bit, but may have to beg for a SAVE. Thanks, everyone...

Hello, again. I'm near the end, but am stuck again. I've talked to Debbie, and am at the windmill. According to the WT, Scott is supposed to be there, but no one's there. There is no active cursor, and nothing is happening. What to do? Gillann

Hi, I haven't taken a photo of the cirrostratus cloud at the windmill, nor apparently have I identified the location using the gallery set up, and Frosty's photos. I don't understand what the paper with the symbols-WM9A, GV2C, and SH4A have to do with the photos. And, last I haven't gone looking for Scott. What do do? Thanks! Gillann

When you look through the gallery photos on the laptop you should see those symbols appear at the bottom of each photo. Make sure that Nancy's phone isn't plugged in while you're doing this, otherwise you won't be able to view the correct photos. When you've viewed the 3 photos with those references then Nancy will comment.

Hi, MaG. I think I'm really missing something. I'm in the basement with the laptop, and have cliced on Gallery. The first 3 photos feature clouds and the windmill. There are no symbols shown, and Nancy says nothing...Am I even in the right spot? Have no idea what's missing.. Thanks! Gillann

Have you scrolled through all of the photos in the gallery (there are quite a lot of them), or just the first three?
