Good day fellow gamers

Thank you Becky for allowing me to post this link

I just finished releasing a non-playable demo of the intro cutscene for my next game Hawk Manor. You don't have to unzip it, it is Windows format so you should be able to download and click on to play it. If you have trouble with your media player you can watch the video on YouTube. Here is the link. Hope you enjoy it

Good day fellow gamers

Thank you for the comments, glad everyone enjoyed the demo. As the game progresses Ellen gets worse.

She is actually based on someone I worked for once. I bet a lot of people who've had bosses like her can relate. I wanted to make the character so nasty that you feel like reaching through the monitor and giving her a good shake.

I've learned quite a lot about animation lately, I think after this game I might try my hand at a couple of short movies. Well I'm off to make the rounds. Take care everyone smile

Good day fellow gamers

I'm glad everyone has been enjoying the demo. I put the game on hold for a little bit, I was wrestling with a bit of depression that thankfully didn't last too long.

Hubby bought me a new room making software and microphone for my birthday so that is going to make life a little easier.

The only problem is when I install the new version I'm going to have to go through the tedious task of importing my 3ds artwork into it and it can only be done one model at a time and there's hundreds of them.

Oh well, so is the life of the lone indie developer hearts

StarLite Moon,

A good effort.

Why did you choose the name "Hawk Manor"? By chance, is the name paying homage to "Hawke Manor" from Philips Interactive Media's Voyeur game that made a lot of splash on CD-i when it first came out?

Hi DaveHT, glad you enjoyed the video.

Actually it was hard to pick a name for the game that sounded like it belonged. First it was going to be Nightmare In Hall House, Terror At Hall Manor but the name Hall just didn't grab me so the more I kept thinking about it, I managed to come up with Hawk Manor

It has nothing to do with the game Voyeur. I didn't even know that was the name of the house in that game. It was so long ago since I played that game I barely remember it. I still have that game actually. I must take a look at the box or booklet. I didn't even like the game.

I've got to get back into making this game, maybe tomorrow. I still have a lot of downloading to do yet and importing models. Such are the perils of the indie developer. Take care smile
