It's not Christmas yet but if you want you can take advantage of this wonderful offer, courtesy of Brawsome:

Quote:
Jolly Christmas from Brawsome!

Well it's that time of year, the time of year for giving the gift of adventure gaming.

Okay, let's get to it!

To get your 50 percent off Jolly Rover discount, you can go direct to the BMT Micro buy page HERE

Which is the same as going to the Jolly Rover 'buy' page HERE
And clicking on the top 'Steam Key' option.

On the BMT Micro Order form under 'Additional Information', you'll see 'Discount Code'. Copy and paste the following code: BOSN000LS

To see the discount applied, enter the code then click away from the window, your form should update with the new price.

Remember, you can purchase more than one copy of Jolly Rover using the discount code for MASSIVE savings! Let you friends and family know what they're missing out on!

If this is your first time purchasing this way, make sure you've entered your email address correctly, because after purchase an email will automatically be sent to you with a unique Steam key or keys that will allow you to unlock the game on Steam.

If all this talk about 'Steam' is making a bit steamy question mark appear above your head don't fret. 'Steam' is a game client you can download for free HERE . Once installed, you can sign up to the service using a user name and password. Once you have a Steam account you can log onto any computer (PC or Mac) and get access to all the games you own through Steam. This means after you buy Jolly Rover once, you can play it anywhere on multiple computers, and better yet, because Jolly Rover uses the Steam Cloud feature of Steam, your save games travel with you, even between PC and Mac!

This discount expires on Sunday the 25th of July at midnight, so please don't put it off if you're considering buying.

Oh, and if this discount code should slip out to people not signed up to the mailing list, well, I can't very well get mad during Jolly Christmas ;0).

Thanks to all, and to all a happy Jolly Christmas!

Thank you Andrew! bravo

I ran right over there and BAAGed mine using PayPal, have received my email confirming and my activation code, but for the life of me I cannot find out where to download this one...have emailed them asking and received no reply back yet. I only see how to BUY the game and I have already done so. Any suggestions? I have an account already with Steam and this should show up in my list of games, but it's not. Thanks for any help
Love, Betty Lou

No, there weren't...but the activation code was included in it. Andrew has sent me an email telling me to register for an account, but I had to email him back saying I already have one. Will await another reply back from him. Will let you know if/when it is resolved. Thanks

Katbear -- have you downloaded the Steam Client (it's a green bar that says "Install Steam Now" on the right of the page near the bottom of the Steam home page). And have you created a Steam Account and logged into it?

(You may have already done this, and I'm not a Steam expert, but once you're logged in it should be easy.)

I'm back with the correct instructions for downloading the/a game if you already have a STEAM logo on your taskbar in the lower right corner = right click on the logo, choose "store" and a webpage pops up, look in the lower left corner of that page and click on "add new game" and if you are already logged in to your account you should see the page/s for the process of using the activation code in the correct box/place and you will then click on "download". That is what finally worked for me. (I have emailed this all back to Andrew). Trying to 'install STEAM' when I already have it does not work at all, got me going around in circles (sound familiar?) and had me totally confused also. Hope this helps and good luck, I now have my JR game on my desktop and started it up just to be sure it was working, and it is.
Love, Betty Lou

Query:
Been having probs major w/connectivity.
Have switched from IE to FF/Mozilla
{a less than ideal bandaid only}.
Could this affect my downloading abilities
in any way?
Not just Steam, but across the board?

Katbear -- I don't THINK so, but you might want to ask that question in the Glitches forum.

Betty Lou -- thanks for the info! Hope what I said about installing the Steam client if you haven't already wasn't too confusing!
