Do you have the "raise the dead" spell? If so - do it in reverse.

Thanks for that it worked a treat, I have now entered the forest and found 2 tree stumps, I dont know what I am supposed to do here, I have tried putting a compass ring on the 1st stump and I can move it around, but nothing happens, am I doing something wrong? anyone
