I seem to have a 'glitch' in this game. In the beginning of Cannabil Island there are two places where a pig (2 pigs) are 'guarding' a leaf covered pit/trap and I used the voodoo trick on the first pig and it worked, I got to cross over the abyss and encountered pig #2, tried same thing and the pig "now he loves me" and he won't leave, plus if I try the voodoo a second time on the pig, I disappear! And I'm stuck here, cannot get to the cannibal camp. Any suggestions? Where to now? (I have to exit the game in order to make Rover reappear and start this scenario over again, but am getting nowhere, can't get past this pig) Thanks
Love, Betty Lou

Betty Lou,

If I remember correctly, you want the pig to go to the abyss.
You are standing on the left side of the abyss. So get the pig to come to you. You have a voodoo spell to make that so (in reverse).

That would be the first pig Mag, and I was asking about pig #2. But it turns out I was using the wrong spell, so I am now on my way again. Thanks

Thanks. Now, I am in the "Forest" and trying to figure out how to use my 3 compass plates on the correct stumps. I do not understand tho, (I have the walkthru and it says "use one or more of the compasses on the stumps and rotate it/them to find the correct exit" but I do not understand how to choose the correct compass when it has more holes on it than the stump has 'pegs' - it is not making sense to me. Got any ideas? I know this one is random, but I don't understand just how it is supposed to work. Color me confused, again

You can cover the holes with other compasses or you turn the compass to show the holes.
Gaius will tell you when it is correct.

Well, I'm not getting anywhere with this one - considering there are 3 compass plates and however many different combinations of 1, OR 2 OR 3 of these plates and which way the arrow is pointing when I place it on the stump, I'm stumped and now I'm bored too. There ought to be a "SKIP" for this one, too tedious. Guess I'm not going anywhere for a while

Look at the holes or circles in the stump.
Then study the holes in the compasses.
See which one of those 3 or maybe a combination will work to fit those holes-circles pattern.
Be sure to try each one by turning them. If that doesn't work add another compass and see.

Study the pattern.

I found it helped to click one compass in inventory and hover it (temporarily) over another compass in inventory, so see which holes then showed through.

So, is it my aim to cover ALL the pegs? or to leave only one showing? (the one which is pointing the correct direction) or to leave ALL the pegs uncovered?
I have tried every combination of 1, 2 and/or 3 compass plates and turned in all 4 directions each combination but Rover just keeps saying "maybe I don't have the (compass) plates for this to work" Are there more than 3 plates to be found? Nothing is working here

Your aim is to match those holes on the stump with the holes in the compass(es).

Right now you can use only 3.

Most of those stumps uses only one compass in my gameplay.
When you turn it correctly - Gaius will say so.
